Kool, I will search around over there for him, and see if he has anything yet although it is early in the game with these boards

DrNip 01-22-2011 04:44 AM

No EFI support .......

Thansk for the help bro ..........

I will see what happens, would love to get 5GHz or a bit better and hit some benchies hard, but if not the real purpose of my build is for a no holds bar prtable gaming rig. I was thinking 4.4 to 4.5 24/7 would be way awsome teamed with 2x 580's both on 16x bandwidth.

Wow that is odd.

I added a little PCH voltage to run 104 BCLK on the deluxe...

I did get some HDD corruption when mem tweaking though.

4.8 or so 24/7 should be cake for ya buddy!

rick

Disable EPU in the BIOS and make sure the switch is off. If you are still getting that 16-33x in CPUZ, then set EPU to high performance.

Either in BIOS or with EVO. Even disabled you can still control it with software :S

Also.. UEFI always remembers the last settings unless you CMOS reset. Stupid design flaw. so you can set High performance.. restart, disable EPU and it should stick.

CPU core offset voltage will let you pass 1.525 volts without erroring, but again offset remembers your last voltage settings.. so if you were auto volting or manual volting at 1.4v already.. adding offset adds to that 1.4v. NOT stock VID.

Stupid stupid.

I do not have time to test cputweaker for yah right now buddy, maybe I can get back home tomorrow.

Looking for 4.5 ghz 24/7 too teamed up with a 580. Wifey had me convinced into getting a 570 but went back with the 580 thought.

Neuromancer 01-23-2011 11:14 AM

580 is nice :)

4.5 Should be real easy to get. I set mine to 4.475 for a 24/7 OC.

I went in with deliberate max voltages though 1.0v SA, 1.2v IO and 1.3v Vcore.

RAM at 2000 ish 104BCLK * 1866 multiplier.

1053 works bro ............
