not to be a d-bag I just cant see you guys getting to keep the team name, I know a bunch of guys that like NBOC too but I would never even think for a second to ask you to change your name to NBOC you know what im saying?

IMO for what its worth I think it needs to be neutral, we are like the NFL, group of teams that compete together. People still know you as the vikings or the Jets but you belong to the NFL.

Name doesnt really matter much to me. Something not related to any of us so its fair for everyone. Think of it as S.H.E.I.L.D. from the Avengers. Everyone knows the members, and each have their own story. But all together they share a name. At the bot we would share a name, and each keep our own names at the forums. Maybe even talk with the owners of hwbot and see if they can open up the site to be more merger friendly. Have multiple site links and whatnot per team (if they dont already). Or even allow small "clan tag" like space after the name of the members to put CP, OCA, or NBOC.

I understand that sacrifices need to be made to move up. From a business perspective, companies buy up other companies, change names and locations all the time. Although this is more like a marriage that is being proposed. :ohcrap:

There is no sacrifice here...all of this posturing and maneuvering is ridiculous. The only question one needs to ask is will this move benefit all involved. We get CP and hte rest of NBOC to join Overclockers Alliance.. that puts us about 13K or 1st place with a comfortable margin.

Alright, lets get this road on the show before people start to figure out wth happened to the rankings. Hit um hard, Hit um fast.

As of now, CP will not be joining the Alliance. Needed a unanimous vote, and didn't get one. Best I can tell you. We at CP wish the Alliance the best of luck in their quest, and that this choice has no ill effects on the personal relationships between members of all 3 teams........unless you let it. We still think nothing but good of you guys. Now.....go kick some XS ass.:clapping:
