The GTX was so good to me I picked up a GTX+ and benched it tonight, 3 golds on the way (am3, 05, and 06) and still 01 and 03 to go :D

But the BEST part is I found out my B batch 980x is just fine, had a stick of ram that was crapping out....

The thing is that I had no cb at all when using ceramique. Now I get a stupid cb @ -155 and I need to change my Gemini base or go back to G-pot.
If only you guys could test the G-pot, it's the best pot around!!!

First test on single 580x. Doing something wrong or getting weird OCP or something. Can do Troll's at 1150/1150, but can't GT1 with more than 1000 core. Won't even start the test.

I finally moved the QPI LL jumper to see what this CPU can do. Had been keeping if off for safety sake. Got this.......but forgot GPUZ tab.:laughing:

Do you get any voltage climb with the 580? Like starts a test at 1.3v and ends at 1.4?

GT1 is the cpu test so that is strange that it would be the one you fail. Any BSOD or freeze or just closes test?

Black screen. Loses display. Frustrating, cause it's limiting me to almost the same clocks as air. Maybe I'll undo the PLL mod. What core voltage have you been running Splave?

Memory starts to crap out at -145 so I can't do full pot.

:D You just made my day, Al. I was limiting myself to 1.2v on the core, not having paid attention to what range folks have been using.

When it gets too cold I start getting artifacts exactly like you see when accidentally setting memory clocks higher than reasonable. :blush:
