Sweet! 990FX arrived today, gotta finish a project tonight/tomorrow and then I will work on my intel run before hitting up the AMD side.

How much time is left in the contest?

Can't even get my RAM to run anywhere near what they were. :(

on Intel nip? post up your settings :D

Some very nice scores up in the hizzy. hardest part about tai server is going through and setting up a secondary partition lol! Installing this afternoon

DrNip 08-02-2011 04:54 AM

Yeah on Intel.

Dunno if it is because my waza runs have gotten better or what.

Don't have a problem setting up a 2nd partition on the TaiServer.

I found that waza works better and faster when you use it on two hdd's instead of one hdd partitioned.

Should I only be using one hdd?

Guess I'm just going to have to start all over and try a different angle.

Also could be I'm rocking a micro ATX for this comp with less settings.

Wife says what I do is considered insanity to others. Watching the same thing and expecting a different result over and over and over, lol.

Splave 08-02-2011 05:39 AM

lol!

Smart woman :D

What I have been finding is that my best times have been from moving the file only once from c: --> d: but for now just using pitweaker to quick wazza and check sub timings stability.

DrNip 08-02-2011 06:14 AM

So do you use only one hdd or two? Seems like when I use waza in full force I get the "not exact in round". I figure it is shooting me out the gate too hard or something.

Splave 08-02-2011 08:26 AM

I use one SSD with a small windows partition and large secondary

DrNip 08-02-2011 08:47 AM

Wonder if SSD's play a better role in it over HDD's?
