I've seen aircraft Mechanics use that stuff to cover small dings and such on commercial aircraft. They always called it speed tape

EB Green is what I've used for years.

"EB Green is found throughout the Navy and rumored to originate from the Electric Boat shipyard, hence the name. If you’re a US Submariner (current or former) you probably heard stories about and experienced the unbelievable strength of “EB Green” duct tape. This stuff is not your Home Depot run of the mill duct tape; I swear when applied properly its just short of epoxy backed Kevlar....."

Duct Tape :P

Wait, what is this thread about again? :D

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. I am not an Aircraft Mechanic

OC, if I remember correctly it is about Kiki building a water cooled PC, I have no idea how duct tape or silver tape is being applied to this build. All I can say if tape is involved something has seriousy gone wrong with this build.

I have built probably 25 water cooled systems in my time starting out with home made blocks prior to these designer web sites that simply sell you what you need.
For the life of me I can not remeber using any sort of tape on any of them, zip ties yes but tape ............. ahhhhhh nope no tape I am sure of it ............

I got into this discussion simply to stop my beloved DUK TAPE from being dragged through the mud :ohcrap:

Back pn topic

How about some Pics Kiki ...........

I got my HVAC Universal Certification back in 1997 and lost my little licence card thingy about 5 years ago.

Haven't done any refer work since 2002.
