First Ln2 session.
 

Here is my first Ln2 session ever. I didn't really want to make a post for it, but didnæt find any place to put. boring with only one result:p

Things I wanted to learn, my i7 coldbugg which was -47 and my 5870 didn't CB before -153c. I only focused about vantage, better to do one "propper" bench than 10x silly bench scores.

5870 @ 1360/1300 1.5v still 1.6v to go:D
i7 920 @ 5090 Mhz
10.2 drivers, didn't know 10.3 was out:p:ohcrap:

I still think there is a lot of potential in that rig. I should be able to run the VGA higher also CPU. I don't know much about tweaking. I use Tiny7 32bit, tweaked services and windows features. That's about it, and setting some core and priority in task manager.

Just a note here... the Frost King you used on the back of your GPU's, remove that foil layer, it peels off.

Not good to leave that foil on when using that stuff for insulation on MB's/GPU's as its possible to short stuff out.

awesome work, think the caps helped? you did the hard vmod as well right?

Reallly nice setup, clocks, run Kriz, did you really crank up the Vgpu to 1.6?

I also encourage you to post your benches as much as possible. Noobs like me love looking thru the screenies.

Dood, nice runs there! That mod surely made the difference especially in the mem clocks....and the new girl friend pictures looks great too!

Very nice benches!! Sucks about the CB on the chip. Seems to do ok at those temps though.

@ Buckeye, yeah I'm using frostking at the back. fist layer was without foil, but the 2nd one was with. They sicked very well, but I'll remember that.:)

@ Slpave, there was only caps, my 50 ohm is comming tomorrow. So I used Afterburner extreme, if you set 1.6v on you'll get around 15.v load.

@Kal-El, oh yeah. many card needs voltage like 1.6v to run their highest clocks. Crust said, I should test clocks btween 1.4-1,6v.

@ RomDominance, I didn't really try to push memeory clocks, I'll look more into them next time under ln2. I will probably test the card with cpu on air and gpu under ln2, just to tweak the max out of it. Thanks, I like it to:)

@ Chucchnit, Sorry, I pointed it out wrong. It won't boot up under .47.:) The chip had no problem with -120 which was the highest I tested.
