What's on the menu for mods?

Well, was gonna practice on the 8800 GTS, but that 285 mod looks pretty tempting. Not touching the 480s until I'm sure I wont' eff em up rofl

You got any dead motherboards or VGA's to practice on? That's what I do for a couple hours to make sure I can do the mod. I know, its a little overkill, but I don't want dead hardware cause I'm a retard.

i was practicing on a dead 4850....i thought it had the smaller smd resistors... i was so wrong the gtx285 had smaller resisters lol

OMG, the vcore mod is tiny :eek: Luckily my dead 680i had some tiny resistors about the same size by the sata ports and on the backside. It took me quite a while to feel confident enough to do the actual mod.
