All-Metal fan for LN2 Application and yeah semi-Torch Proof

http://www.xoxide.com/12alcasfan.html

Im Thinking of these, unless you guys have another option :D

I hate the smell of plastic burning...lol

and yeah most of my fans are torched...lol

Patch 12-08-2010 03:59 PM

Honda, Honda, Honda......why are you torching your fans?

Get some of this and mount those fans angled at the base of your pot instead of hanging off the top of it.

And why use a 25mm fan? You could just wave at your RAM and vregs instead.

Hondacity 12-08-2010 04:04 PM

i can't picture my setup with that string...lol

and i do it now splave style...which is yeah..hanging on top lol..which is pretty damn effective...keeping the cool away from the already frozen vregs :D

Patch 12-08-2010 04:12 PM

Elastic cord is the only way to properly mount a fan exactly where it's needed. ;)

woah nice...now i get it....thanks for sharin.. :D

i'll consider this elastic plan..for the vregs :D ..thanks for the linky

still doing splave's style :D for the cpu pot fan

Splave 12-08-2010 06:42 PM

;) that a boy honda keep that cold off the board!

Protip: move the fan when you zorch! rofl!

PS: patch that some straight ghetto looking sh1t right there, I love it!
But dont you get moisture from the ln2 "steam" ? I like to shoot that air up and away. To each his own :)

Hondacity 12-08-2010 07:07 PM

lol protip....me too lazy! :D

Patch 12-08-2010 07:48 PM

Nah. The "steam" is only moisture that was in the air anyway. It's not extra - it's just cold enough to condense temporarily. And high flow cold air prevents condensation on components better than relatively more stagnant warm air.

At least, I think.

Course, you're a better bencher than I am, Splig.

Hondacity 12-08-2010 07:50 PM

im not worried about the condensation...im worried of mobo coldbugs...
