New Dewar
My Dewar broke :ohcrap:
Anyone know where I can get a new 20 liter dewar for a reasonable price Looking for the kind with a cap that I can just pour out of, will they fill that type ? The one I had with the valves so you don't have to tip it over to get it out broke this morning as was just trying to test the valves the head popped right off........ :Dizzy: So I was looking to simplfy my life by just getting one that pour's out Plus they have to be 10 fold cheaper ........ looking for new not used ... anyone know a place that is reasonable please link me up Thanks |
WD, a new 20ltr dewar goes for about a grand, give or take. I've still got that 50 up for sale.

but yeah WD your not going to find a new one for cheap but if i where to buy used one it would be Taylor Wharton ;) |
IDK if they would fill a "just pour out of Dewar" or not. I'd call your ln2 place and ask first before i bought one. It's really not a big deal though. Thats how i get my ln2 from the 230L dewar to my bench room.
|
you have a 230 L dewar ............ :ohcrap:
dude what's it weigh ??? Mine is 67 lbs full and is 20 liters ........... |
230L should be like 600 lbs + range
my 35L is in the 90's lbs range |
MD if i didn't have to hide my LN2 stuff i'd really take you up on that...
Witchy, i'd try on ebay that's where i got my from and it was a 30~32L for 120+shipping the shipping is where got me pretty bad ($55~60) i am pretty sure a 20L is gonna be no more then $30 |
Yea the only thing is I paid 300 for this and it failed ......... after one use ....
Problem is I had it for like 8 months before I used it. I just am trying to avoid getting another one that is not ready for prime time is my fear, Unfortunatly Madd's is to big for what I need...... :ohcrap: bad enough the 20L cost me 50 bucks to fill, the 50 L would be well over a 100 bucks a pop |
you cant fix yours?
