Win 7 God Mod

This will give you access all Windows 7 and Vista functions via a handy GUI ?
Enable god mod :D

1. Right click on any blank space on your desktop.
2. Click new from the menu and create a New Folder.
3. Rename the folder as follow: GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

On some Vista 64X and Windows 7 64X will crash.

DrNip 01-08-2010 01:21 AM

I believe there is a patch for the crash.

No crash for me.

Neuromancer 01-08-2010 10:00 AM

I did not know it worked in Vista too.. sweet

Jeffro64 01-08-2010 11:30 AM

Well..... silly me went and tried it and explorer keeps crashing. How can I fix this??

EDIT: OK.... Did a google search and found a command prompt fix. If you are running vista64 don't try this unless there is a patch to make it work like Nip says LOL.

Buckeye 01-08-2010 12:00 PM

Just delete it.

Do a system restore to yesterday or something like that.

Jeffro64 01-08-2010 12:15 PM

I couldn't do anything but the command prompt fix because it kept killing explorer LOL. All I could do was bring up task manager and do a RmDir... but that worked a charm.

Buckeye 01-08-2010 12:27 PM

WoW that is strange

Can you boot into Safe Mode and delete it there ?

Jeffro64 01-08-2010 12:31 PM

Nope....tried that and the screen just kept blinking. But I got it fixed so i'm good.

MaadDaawg 01-10-2010 03:32 AM

I had the V64 problem, and I ended up booting into another OS and deleting the folder off the other drive.

Jeffro64 01-10-2010 05:54 AM

Yup... that's another option but I didn't have another OS installed or another HDD to boot from so I had to do it the other way.

So Buckeye, until I have a machine that I can use this on.... What exactly does this do?? I mean from what I can see in the pic posted don't you have acces to all that stuff anyway?

Neuromancer 01-11-2010 07:00 AM

It puts it all in one location

What that does is put a short cut for every single thing you can change in one easy place.

So yes you have access to everything that will show.

For some reason some peoples machines do not like this very much so use at your own risk.

I thought it was neat but deleted it after awhile.

Jeffro64 01-11-2010 10:37 AM

Gotcha... Maybe i'll play with it with Windows 7.

Kal-EL 01-11-2010 06:08 PM

I see alot of troubles with this being reported by people. If you have important stuff on your pc, take a pass on it until its figured out.

Jeffro64 01-12-2010 12:29 PM

Thanks for the heads up!
