I have some points to pick up this weekend. Got this 5870 as well as this 8800 GTS 640 sitting here in front of mean. Got an 8800 GTS 512 coming back my way too either today or tomorrow. :) Thinking I need to follow lead and be sick Friday, cough, cough.

Is it ok if I am jealous of you guyz for being at such amazing points without benching 5870?? I have already benched it with aweful results, what to bench next??? Aah, the 661 has some points left in it with the right mix of board, what else??...Sorry guyz, just mumbling out loud..

The 8 series as well as 9 series can and will net you some points, big points at that. Wish I could get my hands back on my 9800gt's for this revision of the bot. Luckily I still have access to all my 8 series.

Its my friends 512 or else I would. He has a set of them but I am only worried about single runs for now. You just reminded me that I had some 9800gtx's long time back when they came out. Wish I had them back as well.

My w3540 takes a little bit more voltage to run am3 at 5.2... Looks like that chip is performing great!

I did 7min 2sec 360ms at 5153.2MHz.

Sounds like 32m benefits greatly from a little tweaking and tight ram. I'll have to play with it, I got 7m 28s at 5175mhz in w7... My ram isn't real strong though...
I'm going to try to beat that 372k am3 now so keep on pushing splave! Looking forward to the final bot results later to see where you end up. :)

Most definitely fast RAM speeds accompanied with tight timings will get you low scores. That with high CPU MHz and a slimmed and trimmed XP too.

best I got at slow ram was 7min8 lol def need some more mhz on the ram and more uncore frequency. cpu was at 5250
