4 Attachment(s)
Sniped one :) with the hose, and solid shape. $350 shipped
Just need to find an ln2 supplier :clapping: |
Nice. That thing is huge I tell ya.
|
hell ya man!
here is the spec sheet. http://www.taylorwharton.com/assets/...Version%29.pdf 32inches + the hose height wise 128lbs full, comes with wheels ftw. |
You lucky bastid...;)
|
Nice Dewar ! and Congratz !
If its as big as mine then be ready for a Dewar when full to weigh ~150lbs. If you can find some kind of rolling stand to move it around with I would advise that. nvm I see you said it comes with wheels. 128lbs... hmm.. I had mine weighed at the station when filled. Wonder why mine is 22lbs heavyer. Pretty close to the same top I have also, you will like that. Does it have a defuser with it ? |
Splavo - were'd you find that bad boy, I still need one badly, or is that badly need one :morpheus:
|
Sick Splave ..... can't wait to see your results with Ln2
I'm am still a bit stand offish and rolling with Dice first ..... If I get sucked in the may venture into the dark country ..... But Kal hands glow now so I am not sure what that shit does to you long term ........:taunt: LOL Kick butt bro |
|
Praxair or Airgas will be way to go. I deal with Airgas and they charge around $34 for a 20L fill.
|
Airgas in California charges $3.75-$5/litter
I get mine from a local welding shop alot cheaper ;) As many of the other guys have said make sure to tell them what your doing with it to see if they can cut you a deal. |
Not a bad price at all.
EDIT: Hit's price, not OC's that's insane lol. |
Just out of curiosity how long does 20lieters last ya ???
|
Checked out Praxair but only found a cyrogenic tank for 8 grand :( A little much for me rofl
AirGas told me they'd fill their 160 liter for me for 62 bucks - the 1.50 per day rental. May go that route initially if I can't find a good dewar to buy. I hear the big ones empty themselves pretty quickly due to venting. |
Don't sleep for a few days and use all 160L to lower cost :taunt:

guys whats the max I should pay for 50L? and how do I bring them down in price, I mean the price is the price is it not?
Contacted 1 place, offered $0.75 a litter we will see what they say. Under a buck would be good right |
under a buck is brilliant, I wouldn't even try to talk them down. get a good relationship with them and they might cut you deals.
|
Your in NY so I wouldn't pay more than $1.70/L... Every price is negotiable homie.
|
Quote:
EDIT: reread his post a realized he offered the price, not what they asked. So in that case, like OC says, don't pay more that 1.70, or make a drive to Canada and get it for a buck :) |
Glad you guys could work it out Splig....the cat is out of the bag.
Like Rev said, work that network baby! |
mentioning that it's for hobby purposes helps as well.
|
^ good thought rev, so they know im not making any money off using it directly.
FYI welding supplies pinged like 10 results within 10 miles of me :) http://www.mahanyweld.com/home.asp Place looks money, new state of the art fill plant 6 miles away |

Did they quote you the medical purposes prices? Industrial purposes prices are much cheaper. And I think someone over there is being a jackwad with the prices. |
I dont think these idiots have different prices. I'm going up to the company this week personally and instead of talking on the phone. They do Dice to. I forgot to ask the price of the dice. I was in shock when he told me 7 bucks for ln2.
