Don't forget to post some pics of the "hard" version also. ;)

DrNip 02-10-2010 10:33 AM

Man I love your designs! Wish you had one just a little smaller. I'm interested in one just slightly bigger than the Classified mobo itself and have the lower compartment for a PSU, hardrive or two and CD. Not interested in all the water cooling stuff, just DICE/LN2 benching. The hardtable rocks though and will prolly suite my needs for the time being.

My request is simple. I need room for a mobo, PSU and a set of harddrives. I have a portable CD drive so having room for one on a bench table is pointless or at least for me. The table needs to be slimmed lined as possible. I transport my setup all the time, mainly to whatever part of the house is coolest, sometimes the garage so it needs to be light. I use the Classy as reference as that is what I bench with. Needs to be a little bigger than that. Here is a picture of my current bench table setup with old hardware on it. I love it but hate it as it is plastic. I custom made a bracket to house a set of 120mm fans to blow across the RAM, vreg as well as NB.

http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...h_IMG_4105.jpg http://i269.photobucket.com/albums/j...h_IMG_4106.jpg

I currently have a set of 120mm x 38mm fans on there now instead of the 25mm. Your current table would work minus all the water cooling space. That would prolly get the job done. Hopefully this helps or maybe even gives you new ideas.

Buckeye 02-10-2010 11:44 AM

Very Nice Andrea, you always out do yourself :)

I haven't spoken with you in awhile ... I hope all is well :)

Neuromancer 02-10-2010 12:23 PM

I am not a big fan of buying a bench station over building one myself, but have to say.. I someday will own one of them :) They are very well designed and attractive.

Maybe it is partly because it reminds me of my old PC case from the mid 80s :)

Nice work Andrea

thank you for nice words...for me that i'm not a "professional designer" it's an honor...
i just added pics of the Bench Table Hard V2.5...i think the version that around there most overclocker will like;)

Kal-EL 02-11-2010 10:53 AM

Love that Bench Table Hard V2.5, actually, I love the whole setup. Prices arn't too bad for U.S. shipping as well huh?

What is it? like $14 USD?

GFDuke 02-11-2010 10:55 AM

I like my Bench Table hard. Its great for quick in and outs. I actually have Layers of 1/2 foem between the motherboard and the bench table for extreme cooliing insulation. I have no worries about the back of my motherboard at all. The one thing i couldn't work out was the CPU fan/ dice pot hold down rod. I wanted to use it for my Dice pot but no matter how i positioned the carrying beam for the rod, i couldnt get it to hit center.

Neuromancer 02-11-2010 11:14 AM

I love the flexible fan mount, and the all thumbscrew design as well :)

What is that for just to hold it place till you bolt your pot down ??

Nope you can actually hold the pot down with it. I have seen this being used by the Japanese benching team a lot. Don't know exactly who had this idea first but its very innovative. I love the Dimas bench station.

Witchdoctor 02-11-2010 11:40 AM

So the rod is just in the with the dice and Ln2 ??

It would make insulating the pot a snap ... no retainer to deal with = WIN

DrNip 02-11-2010 11:44 AM

I would like to know how much shipping is on the black hard table to the U.S.

Gunslinger 02-11-2010 11:46 AM

It was right around $155 shipped when I checked the other night. :D

DrNip 02-11-2010 12:17 PM

No customs fees I assume.

Gunslinger 02-11-2010 01:04 PM

I didn't pay any customs fees when I bought the Easy version.

Buckeye 02-11-2010 01:33 PM

hmm... I cant remember the amount but I did recieve a bill from the shipping company for custom free's for the two I ordered. It was not right away, maybe a few weeks later. If I remember right it was like $35 for both cases.

Dimas 02-15-2010 02:11 AM

hello Guys, just added the EasyHard pics in first page;)
the shipping cost to USA and Canada are specialy calculated, hope the USD/EUR change goes a bit down more...

Splave 02-15-2010 03:17 AM

god If I dont win one of these im going to have to buy one :) so cool man

RomDominance 02-15-2010 04:41 AM

These tables seem very clean and functional...nice D!

Witchdoctor 02-15-2010 04:57 AM

Very sharp looking product Dimas .....

Question: Are all the edges rolled so there are no places to get cut open on ???

They look it but impossible to tell 100% .....

The fit and finish just look amazing ...... in a black and red two tone finsh to roll with a Classy would be sick......

thanks for kind words to all guys;)
there's no way to cut, couse all the edges are taken by Paint, and the paint cover the edge and also assure that metal is not possible to cut hands.
this kind of work is done on all parts, except the mirrored INOX version, this is crude metal.

GFDuke 02-15-2010 11:44 PM

I can attest that the edges are smooth and finished nice. It is a good piece of work. The only problem i had with the setup was that the cpu hold down rod dosn't exactly line up with the center of the heatsink. I don't use it and i mount my heatsinks with the hardware they came with.

Was that the V2.5 as well Duke? or the older version?

@Dimas, is there a difference in the arch press between the two?

karmakazi 02-16-2010 07:08 AM

Hi Andrea! I will respond to your PM @ XS soon my friend.

These tables are so incredibly clean looking and well designed. I love them!

The arch press looks the same to me bro. Seriously i tried to mount my pot for dice action and there was no way i could get the press to center on my pot. So i had to use the hardware that came with the pot.

the arch press of the V2.5 is littler couse the table itself it's also littler, probably when Duke it's trying to fix the Arch can't get in the right position couse holes distance are fixed, if some one got some suggestion to improve the ARCH press...

so you think we have to include also a Big base on top of Press to distribute better the load?

Witchdoctor 02-17-2010 10:40 PM

Instead of sloted holes what if the arch slid in a groove to eliminate fixed positioning laterally.

The arch slides this way across the top but not along the sides of the table.

I am sure this would create weakness if it were slotted the whole way.
A rail system would probably have to be incorperated. I could draw this but I am sure you have engineers that could do it in better detail than myself with a pencil and paper.

It would have to be a U with top rerturns with a opening in the middle. The edge of the table could be solid and may need reenforced to accomidate a tightening mechanism from the bridge itself.

Hope you can picture what I am talking about here. This would create a slide with no limitations just like the top rail of the bridge/Arch .....

GFDuke 02-17-2010 11:32 PM

2 Attachment(s)
The top of the arch is slotted almost all the way to the middle and stops the rod short of the centering. The side holes need to be more versitile.

Witchdoctor 02-18-2010 12:55 AM

They are great pics duke that middel on the top rail has to go. If not strong enough it woiuld need to be made of a heavier material as on the top it has to be able to go through the material to be effective

GFDuke 02-18-2010 01:19 AM

1 Attachment(s)
I was also thinking that the middle piece is there for support. I think that maybe the middle could be a slot about 100-150mm. Then a solid support point at each end of the middle hole and then some 100 - 150mm slots on each side of that. Are there any boards that would need slots on the arch left and right sides? The slots on the side of the tray just need to be longer so the arch can have more movement.

This is a rough drawing but i think this design would work out.
