Anyone heard good or bad with the 930

Micro Center has them for $ 249.99 on sale. I was thinking about picking one up if I could get 5.0 benchable for 3D .... not sure about an even multi though ???


They are worthless for 2D though as no one is using them ... mabee some Global ???

Awsome price point though

They are supposed to overclock better than even the d0 920. I just bought one, gonna pick it up at MC dallas on my way home today.

Itll be a couple of weeks before I get to play with it, but I will have one.

everything I've seen so far with these says they are great for air, and suck large ones for anything below 0C.

If it sucks cold, it'll sell easily enough. And if it is good, one of my 920s will sell easily too, so not a lot to lose.

I wouldn't buy another s1366 quad core (for boints) unless it was 32nm, new toys are always nice though. :)

its not an even multi... its a default 21 x multi, but will be even 22 possibly 23 x turbo

yea that is what I thinking 22 on turbo ?

not sure but might grab one as really nothing to lose ..... worst case it ends up in my gamer @ 4.5Ghz 24/7 under water

haven't seena screen yet with the 22 or 23x multi.

Yea I just checked the Bot everyone must have turbo disabled ....

So it is just a glorified 920 I guess ...... 22X must not work for crap

I think this is a decent batch gut. All of the garbo one's I've seen had a few zero's in the batch number.

Figures I buy a 920 again an the next day they drop the 930. Was wondering why they were down to the last 30 920's I should have known. Oh well they sell on ebay for more than I paid. The new 920 seems pretty good on air. But will see when I drop some Dice on it. As for the 930 it is still sealed up try that here soon. An yes Dent has got some mad skills them 0's wont mean a thing.

After 3 1/2 hrs on dice I cant get any stability after 4.7Ghz. Vcore after 1.44 has negative effects. Higher than 1.44 for a boot Bsod's. Lower to 1.42 an boots fine runs 2d ect. So I raise it with evbot an stability is iffy. 1.47 with evbot will bsod every time. Tried without v droop an an not much differance. 1.43 will get me 215 x 22 an not much further. Classy 759.

ok I just put my foot in my mouth rite their. Gave it 1 more shot before I dumped the new 920 in an well. Disabled turbo cranked the vcore an pulled a 5.1 Validation http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1056179 also have a 5ghz pifast. I have yet to do it again I suk.

MC is droping the price to $230 on Monday/Tuesday from what I hear.

I figure its a waste, you can grab a 384x batch 920 off ebay for the price of one of these.

Ya thats all I paid was $230 at MC. I just wanted to check it out.

I saved the bios profile for those runs an it wont even boot off those settings after it ran them 3 min before lol. I got sick of it an decided to put the new 920 to the rest of the dice.

well at least it looks like you got some 2D boints out of it ...

Hmm I still havent opened mine ... I think Imma dump it and save the money for a 980, there is no way it can clock any higher than my 920 has without more multi.

Microcenter dropped them to $199 if you bought one in the last 30days you can go get the cash back because of their 30 day price guarantee.

I sold mine on ebay for $300 the other day :D

Might be able to do it over the phone if you payed by debit/credit. They did for me way back when I got the 920 for $230 and they dropped it the next day.
