Yeah I have seen this challenge last week already but to fin the card is just not really possible. Once again the doods with the good connection will be able to bang it in for themselves. :thumbdown:

MSI picked up Vince as a sponser in 09 and Hipro5 has been sponsered by them for a few years on ATI. We know this game. It happens every launch. Sponsered guys get the good shit first and plenty of them. I don't hate. I just wanna be there someday ;)

I totally see the point there. I think they should compete because its their job to pimp the hw. Why else would they pay these guys? Should they be eligible to collect the winnings? I think maybe they should be like hicookie. Post the scores to beat like "beat me if you dare" contest. Sorry guys, but I'm all about sponsered benchers. I tend to view things more from their point of view. Do I like how we all have to compete against these guys? No, but it is what it is. All I can do is push myself, and hope someday to be as good as they are. I always try to remember these guys were us once a long time ago and they just fought through the odds. Seriously though, the hater-ade comment is really just to lighten the mood. :thumbsup:

I wondered the exact same thing, should have been a"use an MSI VGA card" to win an chance at a lightning. not a lightning to win the cash

From my experience in dealing with MSI:

I really do not think they have everything together right over there. I sat on hold for a couple hours to buy a laptop lcd bezel for a customer... When I finally got through, I had to talk to 4 different people before I got someone who knew what a bezel was. Then I was told that they couldn't help me and kicked me over to sales where I sat on hold for another eternity.... rinse and repeat. For a piece of plastic.

Does not surprise me that they cannot get a contest together quite right.

well they may not be out on time for the contest but when they do release just take the crown from the winner. That may get their attention ....... :blink:

With Gulftown release any day now it will be tougher anyway. I'm sure the OC kings have some of these CPU lined up already to hammer on it.

Most have their screenshots and futuremark links already setup. On "GO" day, they are gonna drop bombs. :shock:
