Witchdoctor 03-09-2010 09:13 AM

Koolance REV 1 and 2

Splave 03-09-2010 09:14 AM

koolance rev2, duniek, homedepot copper tube with cap

Hondacity 03-09-2010 09:23 AM

i have koolance rev1 ..i think its good for dice..for ln2...prolly not..hehehe

i'll ask duniek for some pricing....

thanks

Chuchnit 03-09-2010 09:32 AM

Punx and drnip both had issues with communication with him. Slow ass shipping too. Really how much money are you gonna save vs buying n F1? From what everyone says you will use less ln2 with it. Plus he's great at supporting all new sockets with mounting hardware.

Hondacity 03-09-2010 09:35 AM

i sent duniek a msg...

kingpin hasn't been replying ...so i dunno hehehe i'll be patient

Assassin48 03-09-2010 09:43 AM

I ordered from duniek before, my transaction was smooth.

Shipping did take around 2-3 weeks tho but everything was good.

Also this guy does good work

Yeah I have sent him a PM a few days ago and nothing. He must be really busy pounding on the dual socket mobo and what ever else he gets! Another very good pot builder it Otterauge from Awardfabrik. Here you can see some of his work!

Buckeye 03-09-2010 09:56 AM

Man I just sold my F1 to another here.

I prefer the Phantom and only use that now. It costs a bit more but performs much better imo. Dont get the dual wall clear version if your trying to save money as it costs more and better to run with out for better performance.

Hondacity 03-09-2010 01:55 PM

thanks for the otternase pots....lol those pots are heavy...walls are thick..if cpu crashed....fighting cbb isn't fun...

he did an ok job with the extreme one......he's made the walls thinner...he's still trying to market the thick wall design though..and weight means everything...i think thats bs

i got word the extreme one is 500$ includes shipping too..hmmm

the phantom pot is huge...im reluctant to how its constructed...its more like designed for no coldbugs at all...

anyways i think kingpins f1ee is ok right now... hell cheap and i think its in stock....

just waiting for a reply from him...

thanks guys...

MaadDaawg 03-10-2010 03:04 AM

Don't know about the others, other than the dual wall w/ the clear outter wall looks sexy as all hell... until I looked up the pricing lol

The kingpin F1 does a great job at holding and controlling temps. Koolance is much cheaper but don't know much about it as there has not been much put up to read about.

:D Ordered my F1 with aluminum extension today. :D

The massive LN2 Dewar is about to take over the neighborhood. No one will come near my house when they see this thing. I'll probaby get reported to the police for terrorism. I think i'm gonna need a forklift or possibly a crane.

You don't need extension for Ln2 benching, unless you plan to DICE it some day.

I know what you mean every-time I take my dewars out, the neighborhood get's antsy :D

GFDuke 03-14-2010 12:56 PM

I want the extension to help stop the splashing.

I hear that man but, this ones gonna be massive at 230L and i'll have to leave it out side.

Splave 03-14-2010 05:30 PM

Kal-EL 03-14-2010 06:16 PM

Another 35L would round out my arsenal. 90L total is enough for me.

I will keep my feelers out for you Supers. Wouldn't mind having another 50 with an extractor to limit trips for refills. Glad to hear your ramping up there Duke, go get em bro, I've got your six.:gun12:

i recently bought a 2nd CPU and GPU Pot from Peter, http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=1#post4287433

Its the shipping which made the deal much cheaper than the F1EE, paid 350$ in all for CPU + GPU Pot + Shipping + Paypal fees, though ofcourse if in US, I guess there is no question of looking for any other Pot than Kingpin's F1EE....

Kal-EL 03-14-2010 08:29 PM

Slick looking pot, I hope it kicks much butt for yah banik :)

Hondacity 03-15-2010 12:22 AM

Must be what that gigantic stack of cash was for in one of his pictures. That got taken down real quick, lol. I also noticed he was quick to post up his video security system over and kp's place not long after. :)
