Incoming Cascade: Kr|pton
 

Hey guys,

Just wanna share my joy: finally I got a Cascade named Kr|pton of course http://media.bigoo.ws/content/smile/...aracter_27.gif

Don't get me wrong I love LN2 but I always missed a Cascade because of the comfort and versatility before putting the hardware under Nitrogen.

It was tuned with a 8 cores/threads processor 300w+ - 101 to 105oC and has a pretty black powder-coated case with a monster evap length.

I will post pics and results when I get my hands on it (Friday), all I have are these from the builder (ruffus):

Rom, ruffus first advertised it for 2k because it cost him $1600 in parts (the case + powder coat alone was $400). The original buyer backed out so he did had to take a big loss in the end . The Canada - USA freight shipping doesn't help either.

It looks even bigger with the angle these photos are taken. Looks the same size as your bike and mini-cooper thing.

Well I took shots trying to get some reference points around because I was shocked when I received the crate I was thinking UPS mistaken my Cascade with a Poney! The pics in the begging of the thread does not make justice to the size of this thing, the radiator itself is bigger then my car's radiator...

It's supposed to hold 8 cores / 310-350w / -105-108oC

Well see how it does.

Some early results: Clark meets Kr|pton
 

All tests had 90 to 101oC measured on the IHC probe I placed. Cascade Never dropped below 94oC (wPrime1024 and PCM5 CPU tests) depending on how many cores where on...

I had fun tweaking things up and still need to catch up with RomDom about the P55. PCM5 Global Gold Cup will need a better card then this week Lightning and Ln2 too.

This Clarkbar is ready for -190oC Ln2 as I know these will scale with cold and not volts.
