notta. the screen is fubar. Ended up using it blind style and rocked the sh1t out of it.

I'll pop up some screens after I go get hammered lol, but my damage is up at the bot. Got around 100 boints iirc.

MaadDaawg 04-17-2010 12:53 PM

Don't know about you guys, but the damn wires keep getting lose on mine, got me a blank screen that way once or twice :P

Witchdoctor 04-17-2010 01:57 PM

Nice work bro 100 in the kitty ...........

Dentlord 04-17-2010 01:58 PM

Great work Rev!

My bot has crapped out on me twice now, both times trying to apply a clock and gets stuck.
I can always reset it though.

Kal-EL 04-17-2010 02:05 PM

Sick bointage Rev :D

DrNip 04-17-2010 02:17 PM

EVbot is great but cheaply made.

Splave 04-18-2010 05:08 AM

great job brother rev! 8800 was very good to you.

RomDominance 04-18-2010 07:11 AM

Good goin Revmaster, sorry bout your droid.

ReverendMaynard 04-18-2010 07:47 AM

thanks guys :)

If I angle the bot right, I can see it but I can really on;y confidently change clocks, no voltages. I guess I'll rma it, hitting max clocks just ain't the same.

YES! Could not agree more.

ReverendMaynard 04-19-2010 04:08 AM

Thanks Hit, much appreciated :)

This was probably my best run this weekend with the 5870.

I'll post up some more when I get home. Gotta talk with Splig about my poor AM3 outings. 344k at 5.2ghz 1120/1200 seems a bit low.

Witchdoctor 04-19-2010 04:15 AM

sick 06 run brother .... ......

Splave 04-19-2010 04:20 AM

if you were running similar to those pics, Im thinking to get into the 380s you will need cas 7 and a bit more uncore. Ive got a slammin kit of 2x1gb hypers if you wanna borrow them for a while :)

@ WD, thanks brother!

@Splig Dude I've tried everything man and I can not get 5ghz with uncore above 16x. Not sure if it's the chip, the board or the ram but I even tried 2 of my Pi 2000's at CAS9 and it still buckled. I think that was my last sesh until the move to the new pad so, if you can come up here in July I'd love to get you on it and see wtf I'm doing wrong. Strong CPU for sure, ran all day Sat and Sun and never failed at 5-5.11ghz under 1.6v. I'm thinking LN2 is pretty key as no voltages make the slightest impact at -65C.

Also, for any DICER's out there....use the Koolance V1 pot if you can find one. With snow and shot of acetone, my temps never went above -55C and would idle between -62C to -67C. wprime, 06....it's a really good DICE pot.

Neuromancer 04-19-2010 04:54 AM

Yeah in reviews the v1 is better than the f1 for DIcing. (of course it all falls down with LN2)

Nice runs man.. Someday I hope to break 30 :)

ReverendMaynard 04-19-2010 05:15 AM

Thanks Neuro :) 30k is yours with the right combo. A 920 that repeatedly hits 5+ghz is a must ;)

one of the good ones from my last sesh. Wish I could get higher on the uncore though. And yeah, that's Mushkin 1600mhz ram just under 2000mhz CAS8 1.74v real. Love that sh1t.

AM3, not bad clocks for a stock 5870 :) Bunk ass acore though, need Win7 32b.

Neuromancer 04-27-2010 05:40 PM

Thought it was Vista 64 for ATI on AM3????

Yah know it would be great if someone wrote up a guide....instead of starting 15 tips and tweaks threads on the same app LOL

Splave 04-27-2010 08:14 PM

thats a great score for XP. try win 7, and enable affinity all cores should get you a nice bumpy.

We're working on cleaning up the Benchmark Tweaking section and v-mod section so keep it in your pants. :keeporder:

Fo sho, my 7 install took a dump during some Vantage fiasco so I'll have a tight install for next sesh.

Thanks Kal :) Doable at 5.2+ but it wasn't netting me any score and was just mowing through the DICE so I'll get it up there and put in some respectable scores.

Witchdoctor 04-28-2010 04:16 AM

1120

Witchdoctor 04-28-2010 04:36 AM

Dam bro ... I put TX 2 on mine and still not that good

1050 was a brick wall and anything over 1.275 it turned it into a nuclear reator ....

Wish I still had mine now I have a GPU pot ..... :ohcrap:

Sick job though bro ... I have been hitting AM in XP diag mode for bset results ...

I have 64bit 7 but AM is dog shit on it ... from what I have read 32 7 must be better

kow_ciller 04-28-2010 05:53 AM

That 1120mhz on air looks nice should do well with more volts/cold :D, I cant get past 1071 on mine. Seems to hit some sort of wall, and hates having more than 1.312v in it.

Thanks. It's a Powercolor revision 1 with it's original bios. Hopefully going to hit it with some LN2 this summer if I don't sell it first.
