Is this normal
 

Installed my GTX 480 and presicion is reporting a clock speed of 1451. GPUZ reports a clock speed of 725. The GPUZ report corresponds to the cards stock numbers, but Presicion is reporting double ???

Any one experiencing this?

Yup got the same thing. Hey what the hell is that black foam thing n the back for> I hope i can take it off to insulate.

lol.. I was wondering the same thing lol didn't really notice it until the card was mounted on the board and then I though "oh shit" part of the packing material.. it'll catch of fire :rofl:

You need the latest precision ... get the unlocked one from the ftp ;)

Is the latest one working? I had issues with setting the memory one the 470 with it. For some reason it would always jump back to stock after I applied it. I ended up using the Galaxy tool.

you can remove the foam from EVGA cards and not void the warranty. However other manufacturers that may be different.

Ok i had to extract the file to desktop from winzip to get it to work.

did you install the newest version of precision? the older version will not read anything but temps correctly.


as for the skin, sometimes it will not default to the correct, if thats the case then you can manually apply it under the wrench icon, then under user interface.

yo Punx, when I loaded Presicion off the install disk, it showed no clocks, so I downloaded the latest and it showed double the clocks. Found the kewl 480 skin so all is well I recon. Gonna give it a go on air w/ the SS after I get off this rig :)

So what is different about the presiscion on the ftp server??

And... when is the voltage control supposed to come out??

USe the new AB for voltage bud. Its on the FTP too.
