RomDominance 07-02-2010 08:53 AM

Is that the new code name for boints? I like ice cream, both types.
Hope you have a blast bro and best of luck!

Have fun Patch!!!!

My weekend started terrible after the Brazilian loss on the World Cup :-(

Chuchnit 07-02-2010 03:37 PM

How much cheaper per liter do you get the gas when buying in bulk like that?

The litter goes way down from 0.60/L to 1.00/L problem is the rental costs that are charge by the day!

Patch 07-02-2010 05:31 PM

Sorry about Brazil, Jor.

Here's the price comparison.

55L to fill up both my dewars = $120 (with tax).
180L is $150 + $45 monthly rental + $25 delivery fee = $220 (+ probly another $15 tax)

Add that to the fact that I would have to fill up my dewars more than 3 times to get 180L worth, and it takes at least 2 hours of my time (plus gas) for each fill.

Don't know why I didn't do this before......

Definitely cheaper homie. Plus you don't have to worry about running out if you are having an awesome session.

Patch 07-03-2010 11:05 AM

Battling my CPU. Having a tough time regaining my prior top clocks with RAM as high as before. Still having fun though.

Finished off playing with the 8800GTS and padded some hardware boints. Now I can finally take the pot off that card and have something on water for OS installs and 2D benching....

Next up are a pair of 5870 Lightnings......don't know if I'll get to it today though. Got family guests now.....

Can't let Jor have all the fun this weekend. :cool3:

Patch 07-07-2010 09:20 PM

I think I got the same shaft Duke got once with a big rented dewar.

I'm all out. Way too fast. I'm thinking the "broken" gauge that said 1/2 full on arrival weren't "broken" after all........sigh.... I'd be much angrier tonight if I wasn't so excited that my CPU isn't dead after all. It just needed a good night's sleep.

Last hurrah here. Went with safe clocks to ensure I got a bench in before the juice was gone.

GFDuke 07-08-2010 12:18 AM

Let me guess. you called them to tell them the Dewar gauge was on the halfway mark when you got it and they said don't trust the gauges they dont work right. I'm gonna guess its Airgas. FTL

Splave 07-08-2010 03:31 AM

awesome, you are really making that card sing patch :)

sofos1990 07-08-2010 03:36 AM

hehe nice one man !
Is lightning right ?

Patch 07-08-2010 09:54 AM

Not airgas, just my local mom and pop place. They're the cheapest around, by far, so I need to be tactful....

@ Sofoklis: Yeppers. Lightning it is.
