Frustration

Frustration is having an SR-2, two Xeons, 12 Gigs of RAM and so on.....and not enough time to put it together. Is the cuss filter on? &*%%$&^*&^*

Sent you a pm about this weekend's Quakecon in case you're nearby and wanna visit our boys as they kick some ass in the Quakecon OC Event.

arrange time like after dinner...8pm-10pm...look at your bench table... and start putting stuff together... its how i deal with my lazy butt...

Well, since the cat's out of the bag so to speak......here it is so far:

CASE Mountain Mods Extended Ascension case. Gloss Black.
PSU #1 PCP&C 1200w Turbo-cool
#2 PCP&C 950W Silencer MKII
MOBO EVGA SR-2
CPU Intel Xeon 5670 (X 2)
RAM GSKIL PC3-1280 F3-12800CL6T2-12GBPIS (2 X 6 GB)
GPU ? (X ?)
HDD Intel X25-E Extreme SSDSA2SH032G1 2.5" 32GB (X2 RAID 0)
WD Caviar Black 1 TB (X2 RAID 1)
RADIATORS Hardware Labs Black Ice GT Gen 2 Stealth 360 XFLOW (X 3)
Swiftech MCR320
H2O BLOCKS Swiftech APOGEE-XT (X2)
H2O PUMPS Swiftech MCP 655 (X2)
FANS Scythe S-Flex SFF21F (X 12)
Scythe Ultra-Kaze (X 4)

I just got the 950w today. I am impressed with the 1000w continuous 83.4A rail. I put 2 PSUs in so if I get an itch I can scratch it.

It sits there in a pile and stares at me!

I'm open to any suggestions.
It's been so long since I tinkered with anything I can't remember which end of power cord goes in the wall.

3 rads might keep that thing cool enough :)

How are you splitting it up? Or are doing one massive series loop?

DOH.. for some reason I thought I saw you had 2 GPU blocks listed.

I figure I'll have the case together, waterblocks installed on the board, board in the case, PSUs in the case, 3 radiators mounted in the case, and maybe the water pumps mounted somewhere this weekend.
By the time I do that it'll be time to go to Margaritaville LOL. :Dizzy:

That is a bummer man,

You have the smexy hardware so it is just a matter of time ...... there are worse problems to have ....

FACE 08-13-2010 04:08 AM

You can always be *cough cough* "sick". ...or buy 50lbs. of knead eraser, make fake casts for your legs, and say you were hit by a car..... that'll give you some free time for sure!
