well that sucks... Hopefully he has something better to do lined up.

Best of luck to him

DrNip 09-22-2010 09:47 AM

Wow wonder where he is going to go?

Chuchnit 09-22-2010 11:35 AM

Sucks for EVGA. So how long until they close the doors?

GeorgeStorm 09-22-2010 11:42 AM

You really think they're gonna go down without him?
But they've got such a strong base, surely it won't hit them that badly?

I don't think it'll affect eVGA is the slightest way. In fact, I think it's better for eVGA, as we all know shammy is godlike but 99% of eVGA's customers couldn't give a shit who he is. Sounds harsh, but that's business.

Nah, they won't close their doors over this.

But if Shannon gets recruited elsewhere they really will be hosed.

kikicoco1334 09-22-2010 12:46 PM

get him to join oca!
isn't he like chinese or something?>

Nah I don't think one man (no matter how awesome he is) can bring a company down. What shammy gave evga was credibility in the motherboard market. Plus the guy was pretty innovative. The real question is if they can produce the same quality boards, and lets face it that the classy RULED the market for months, after his departure.
