Nuts! Fastest I ever went was in a Porsche GTR2 on a German Autobahn. Pushed it all the way to 300 kmp/ 186mph. :ohcrap: My buddy over there owns a body shop and always has some exotic cars in the garage to take for a ride. This Porsche was one of a kind vehicle. Estimated price of around 1 Million, all wheel drive and 800 some ponies. This was a afternoon I'll never forget.

yeah i was chatting with a buddy of mine...we were agreeing he's in idiot lol... i like that honda fit though....very light body...brake response is just awesome...his honda accelerates real fast though...

Fastest I've been so far is 165+ in a 71 Z28 Camaro I had and could have gone faster but I was running out of road so had to get out of it.
Haven't done that in years now and content with good 'ole 55 or so.

I've seen some rather nasty stuff in my time from folks hitting things at high speeds like the time some dude was running from the cops on a sport bike. Hit the left rear tires of an 18 wheeler log truck and he literally did fit between the tires along with most of the bike.
Don't want to see anything like that again - Ever.

I used to drive like a mad man. I had to lay my bike down at about 75 mph when someone pulled out in front of me. I knew I was doomed and did not want to embed myself in the side of his vehicle, so I pushed the bike down and did a superman leap that Supes would be proud of. A nurse was driving behind me....she told me I did at least 3 full somersaults in the air before I landed. I already had a cast on my right arm, with only my fingers sticking out the end to hold on to the throttle. I somehow managed to use the cast to absorb most of the grinding and impact..it was flat from the elbow to the hand and ground all the way to the flesh. I was not wearing a helmet, and I only had a T shirt and jean jacket on.

Same here, after 3 motorcycle wrecks and the broken bones/road rash scars to prove it, I've moved on. No more wheelies down Nimitz for me.

Nimitz Highway here in HI Rich, lol. Glad some of us have grown up :) I take my 2000 Camaro SS out to tear up some road from time to time, its a crazy fast 6 speed.

I saw first hand a Corvette coming off the Airport viaduct onto Nimitz at excess of 100 mph, hit a bump, get slapped around by concrete dividers SEVERAL times, and eventually come to a rest in an entirely different shape and size. It was a small ball of metal much smaller than its original size. You could make out the engine block and tissue paper metal around what used to be the cab. Sadly, the two military persons in the vehicle were also unrecognizable.

One minute you soaring like an eagle, next your..........well, nothing, not even...just roll me a wrecker and the city coroner.
