Just started working on this platform today. Todays goal is a 5GHz CPU-z Valid OC. Here are a few screen shots of my OC in progress.

I'm bencing on water and so far she is scaling fine. Not sure where to stop on vcore and cpu temp.

Any suggestions?

on water( cold) 45nm can do 1.6v fine...

Thanks Honda. Not setup to go deep into the frost as of yet. Studying the setup at the moment. After that I'll take her down to -190 and see how she likes it.

the i7 45nm retail.......has a cb issue....i7-920 i7-875k....these chips don't go -190c... its not that bad since you don't have to waste alot of ln2...

I'm pretty surprised in my temps on water. Seems to stay cool, then again I do have 2 triple rads with (6) 1850 RPM GT's and a room temp of 18c trying to keep her cool. I wasn't aware of the cold bug issue, being an AMD guy, but I'm learning. I'll give her another run at 1.6v on the core as long as the temps are happy.

Had a pretty difficult time trying to CPU-z verify 5GHz so I decided to move on (for now). Been working on 2d benches most of the day. Here are my results.

nice setup....

you can run everything with only 2cores..and ht disabled......this will lessen the heat...which means
more oc head room and less degradation...

wprime21 and wprime1024 is the only benches that need ht....

for pifast..use try 205bclk... with 2:10 ram multi...you might be able to increase your efficiency...

superpi runs look ok..but not yet fuly tweaked.....some guys can chime in on that...

Looks like I still have a lot of work ahead of me in 2D. I still have to learn waza for superPI.

Decided to take a break from 2D and try my had at some 3D.

Here's my first 3D benchmark. I forgot to click on the memory and mainboard tabs on CPU-z, dumb mistake.

21072 marks with Ati Radeon HD 5770 at 1100/1420MHz

3Dmark 2006 Radeon HD 5770 rank: 41st out of 241, good for 15.9 points.

Need to work on the CPU score.
