Have u heard of this man made islands off of the Dubai Coast....it is a bunch of small islands set up to look like the world.....*sigh* to have that much money

Yeah these islands are sweet! Dubai has a lot of crazy buildings including the highest tower in the world the Burj Khalifa.

I was at the Mall :)

Was docked in Dubai for a few days, and went to the movie theater there. Xmen one was showing and someone took the film and scribbled over all the stars of david in the opening scene with a little magneto in a concentration camp

(By scribbled over I mean scratched the film so it showed up as scribbles of light on their arm bands.)

I was not on the ship when it ported at Haifa... (met up with it in Bahrain) and one of my shipmates tried to pay for something at the mall in Shekels he had left over. The cashier spit on the money. :laughing: (Conversely, the USD is accepted everywhere.

Money alone does not the 1st world make.
