Tomorrow is the day I have been so anticipating as well as dreading. My 3rd mobo will arrive. All I got to say is wish me luck as if it doesn't work, I might be gone for awhile as I will need a break from the BS. :mad:

Here is a quicky. I just finally got her all setup to where I can run on her. Still have alot of downloading before I even think about tweaking the BIOS.

No shit. This BIOS is a lil bit different than the Nvidia I'm use too. Goin to have to learn how to crawl again before I walk let alone run!

I hear the DFI X58 bios isn't as bad as others past, but I imagine it's still twice as hard as most boards. Glad you got it running.

Got new problems. Fresh install and got virus after virus. All I did was install SP1 and download cpuid and coretemp. I got the viruses/trojans/vundo or whatever you may call them off but can't get rid of this damn "error loading kalahavi.dll". I have deleted it out of all the registry and everywhere else. For the life of me I can't find where or what is trying to load it to throw that error. This will be the 1st time I haven't been able to get rid of this type of problem. Prolly could but a reload will be faster and less stressful. Looks like when I get home tonight I will do yet another install bringing the # of mobos to three and the # of Windows installs to three. WTF is it about this build and the # three? I swear though the 1st virus sign is when I loaded cpuid?

I would put everything u need on a thumbdrive and wipe the hds clean and do it all over. This time keeping the pc off the network to the internet source!
