took a few shots at it for fun with my gamer. Was hoping to get a few temp boints but the BOT doesn't have it up yet.

Here's my first two runs, which according to ORB ain't that shabby :P

second run orb link http://3dmark.com/3dm11/20188;jsessi...K4K6Z2xE0jsQ3y

I had posted the first link and was ready to hit the submit button when the housecleaner started the effing vaccum and killed my computer - bitch

Hondacity 12-07-2010 12:30 PM

loool vacuum cleaner killed the pc? really? lol .....

MaadDaawg 12-07-2010 12:57 PM

Yeah, I moved my big ups downstairs and she plugged into the wall socked directly on the other side of the wall - the little grey ups didn't stand a chance

Unfortunately, I wouldn't classify her as hot. Very nice lady that's been coming by every other week for the past 10 years. She cleans lots of things, nothing on my body though, though I think it could happen if I tried ;)

Lol @ ORB. After all these years ya think they would have at least made a bench that can read your system correctly. I had my CPU @ 4 ghz. My card was clocked at 800/1100.
This bench test sucks. Way to much hype on it. Futuremark just needs some cash. Imo.

Trying to run this on my gamer, SLI doesn't work though, need new drivers >.<

Beautiful bench though, much nicer than vantage!

Splave 12-08-2010 05:33 AM

Idk I like it :D, no real tweaks, cpu doesnt matter as much so guys that were getting cherry ES chips and cards got their advantage cut in half.

Notice how the cpu/combined isnt timed, it runs till it hits 600frames is kinda cool

not the cleaning lady!!! lol

splave

does it scale with ram subtimings?

Splave 12-08-2010 06:11 AM

I will play with it and get back to you on that honda :D

Hondacity 12-08-2010 06:55 AM

thanks boss....im trying to find out what the formula is.... but seems to me cpu scaling isn't there but i think ram might help with the huge data set.

Splave 12-08-2010 09:19 AM

forget gpu ram clocking, stock 1840vs2000 gains nothing on 460

Hondacity 12-08-2010 09:24 AM

was thinking of ram ram...lol ddr3 ram..on the mobo... or if superfetch helps...

Splave 12-08-2010 09:27 AM

right I know what ya meant ;) was just submitting an observation

DOM 12-08-2010 09:48 AM

same clocks on the card, cpu stock and 4.5ghz i just got 5X more points

this 3dm sucks also looks ugly on ati and i dont have a any other dx11 card to compare :(

rickss69 12-08-2010 10:12 AM

Splave 12-08-2010 10:33 AM

Scores well with SLI. Double the gpu double the score.

I was getting 5900 with one card, so not quite double but definitely a big boost... this thing will be gpu bottlenecked for quite a while methinks.

Patch 12-08-2010 05:06 PM

Nice!

I'm thinking "stock cooler" means something a little different in your environment than it does in my neck of the woods. It's pretty cold today. 60's......

Splave 12-08-2010 05:08 PM

jk jk ;) make ya guys nervous ?? this is my original card on ice rofl ;)

Nice Splig! Kicked the shizz out of my 480's, got another 800 points from 100mhz more core, but still way behind the 580s

First time running this bench this evening. 580 and 980 both on ln2, quick hour session.

CPU does matter with the 580, but only to a point. Here are some results, judge for yourselves.

At 1135 on the 580 core I think 5.7GHz is enough to remove the bottleneck. Prolly will need more cpu with greater core speed on the 580...I only had about 15 liters to test tonight so more results coming to a sector near you soon. :alien:

Hondacity 12-08-2010 08:53 PM

new single card record!!!

Found some drivers you guys may want to try...

Win7x32 http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...it-english.exe

Win7x64 http://us.download.nvidia.com/Window...it-english.exe

Modded inf http://members.cox.net/bstelling/nv_disp.zip

Splave 12-09-2010 06:39 AM

IDK rom, 5% gain in score from stock to 5.7ghz is hard to call the cpu any type of matter. The same gain would probably be seen from raising the gpu another 10mhz. I would like to see what you get at 5ghz with card at those speeds. Then again 5.7ghz no ht most if not all 980xs should do that easily.

Patchie, do you have a compare link for that run?

Nice benchin guys

Patch 12-09-2010 07:07 AM

Nah, just tinkering around. Completed a run with the card at 985/1000, but the score was lower than the 975 core run.

ocgmj 12-09-2010 08:26 AM

10k+ Single 580?? LINK

GFDuke 12-09-2010 09:12 AM

ORB is fuked. He says in his title that he used 2 in SLI but ORB says SLI is disabled. They really need to do alot more work on the new ORB.

Splave 12-09-2010 10:13 AM

non approved drivers I thought you didnt get a score?

ocgmj 12-09-2010 11:42 AM

So basically ORB is worthless....

DOM 12-09-2010 12:13 PM

mine shows 15000000000/10000000000 on the core mem clocks
