Hiatus - for a few more weeks
 

Yesterday my car was smashed from behind by a school bus. I have some severe whiplash and cant do a hell of a lot of anything right now without a lot of pain.

I was prepared to fill up the dewar and crank out some benches on the hardware I have piling up over here. Now I guess that will have to wait :thumbdown:

So whenever I start feeling well again I will get back into some benching. Just wanted to let you guys know im not some DOA team member. :thumbsup:

If all goes well, I may walkaway with enough money for a down payment on a nice house in the country (get me outta this city!). But I dont want to count my eggs before they hatch, I would be happy with any sort of recompense.

No thankfully the bus was not occupied. It was only the driver and an aid. I did have 3 CRT monitors and 2 dells in my trunk that were crushed. Good thing i got them all for free, because now insurance pays the full retail cost for them hehe.

Go to the doctor and go NOW! Same thing I told DOM. If you don't already have a doctor, or one the one you have doesn't handle this type stuff, ask your lawyer about doctors that he/she has had good experiences with. Establishing treatment and maintaining it is so important!!

Just today we had a guy who WAS injured in a car accident pretty much get screwed (and screwed us and the lawyer) because he waited 8 months to get treatment. Most likely he tried to be "tough" until the injury really set in, but in the end it screwed the guy to where the settlement offer barely covered medical expenses. Basically everybody had to take a big cut. The legal system sucks gigantic balls, no doubt about it. Basically it is set up to where you got to have the attitude of screwing the insurance company because I can gaurantee you the WILL try to screw you in every way!! I see this every day of the week!

Basically get a lawyer like yesterday and find a doctor who can treat your injuries and establish the basis for your injuries like yesterday!! Not sure if you've done this??

hehe I hate those commercials! Honestly most of those law firms who advertise agressively with their generic ads aren't worth a crapola. That's how it is in my area anyways.

Hey guys checking in after a long time here. Turns out i herniated 3 discs in my neck and 2 in my lower back. Recovering is a slow process, so benching for a little while longer is still out of the picture for me. Wanted to let you guys know I'm still going to bench hard for OCA when I'm back to 100% though.

You have all been tearing it up and I watch the hwbot boards daily to see those scores!

Ah man, get well soon J, but don't flake off on therapy, its uber-important no matter how shitty it is or BORING! Screw up therapy= screwed up recovery, speaking from experience. Also, benching DOES aggrevate the injury no matter how many vicadin your on :taunt: (also speaking from experience) but its hella fun :D

Well I was feeling good today so I got all my old gear together to sell it. Gotta raise some funds for a sandy bitch and good motherboard. Seems I can just run single stage for high clocks on those? Been kinda outta the loop...
