ATI + AB = WTH BBQ [Solved]

Can't seem to get MSI Afterburner to work for the ATI GPUs. Keep getting "Failed to initialize display driver wrapper" error. I've reflashed the OS and reinstalled drivers a couple of times before installing AB and am still getting the same error. Had no such trouble with the Nvidia GPUS, AB and Rivatuner worked just fine.

OS: TinyXP Rev9
MOBO: Tpower i45
CPU: e8500
GPU: 5870 & 4870
Display Drivers: Tried 10.3, 10.4, 10.11, 10.12
Chipset Drivers: 9.1.1.1020
MSI Afterburner Version: 2.0.0

WTF am I doing wrong?

[Problem Solved]

Try older AB and see if that helps? maybe 1.51 or older.

Chuchnit 12-20-2010 05:29 AM

Oh did you image your OS's with nvidia cards/drivers installed? Just shooting from the hip here....

OC Maximus 12-20-2010 05:59 AM

No, imaged without display drivers. Gonna try an older version of AB once I get home from work.

Thanks,
OCM

:rofl If OCM is trying to run AB with no display drivers installed then he owes us a livestream in his undies. :D

OC Maximus 12-20-2010 08:26 AM

LOL. Display Drivers are installed and reboot before installing AB. Home now, time to figure this thing out.

OCM
