Chew and WAT removal methods do not work even Pre SP1. IIRC the windows loader was tested with SP1 though and appears to still be successful.

If you have the termsrv hack for concurrent RDPs you must apply the new SP1 friendly one before updating too :)

Just be careful when using sites like softpedia. We don't want people turning into botnetslaves.

WAT removal works fine for me. I'll give it a go with the SP1.

Worked fine for me for 6 or 9 months too. Caused system instability recently, traced it back to the WAT removal. Reinstalled WAT and switched to ChewWGA for now until I can get a non "N" version of windows installed.

Whats WAT and ChewWGA for our non-acronym readers?

WAT = Windows Activation Technology.

WAT Remover and ChewWGA are two different means of pirating windows.

(ChewWGA works on the Windows Genuine Advantage portion and does not remove WAT.)

I don't condone pirating.. I am just familiar with the cracks :)

Just installed SP1. My load times before were stupid fast but now, forget about it. No more Welcome screen. It goes BIOS post, Starting Windows screen and then desktop. Took the Welcome screen right out of the picture. :D

guys...any idea on how to uninstall it? if it turns out to be not so good:D
