Announcement: !Mageshack is banned from OCA
 

Sry guys but this is the 3rd occurrance of an ********** link being hijacked to a trojan downloader this month. I'm not the only user to experience it and I wasn't the last.

Forthwith, ********** hosted images are banned from oca. :offhead:

thats what i seen alot... damn shit trys to load when i click on pics pisses me off

cntrl alt delete, end program via task manager to get outa the trojan downloader.

I've always hated that site. Probably because I was too lazy to click on the pictures. lol

I'm glad its blocked now.

That or just right click in the task bar and close. Never had a problem doing it like this. Any pop now a days I do it that away. Sometimes you can't right click and close in task bar so I use the cntrl, alt and delete method.

Never had an issue with trojans or whatever.
But don't like the site in general, tis slow, and don't like having to click the picture, takes aaages.

Thank you. I was going to tell you about a link posted here, but got sidetracked after I had to ctrl-alt-del out of it and scan my system.
FWIW, they're now banned at CP also.

This was a good thread and I actually used it for reference this morning again. I'll download the pics to my computer and then upload the images to the server so they will be safe and viewable. Anyone object to this?

That is the thread that taught me how to vmod. From start to finish. Already have the pics all downloaded to my computer. Give me a bit as I am testing out my vmodded 5770.

Its an easy fix. Kal can unban the name for a few minutes, snag the images and host them here. :)

Pics are back up in his thread using my photobucket. Hopefully it won't cause problems. Never known it too. I would have uploaded them to the server and posted them in the thread but it would only let me upload 15 pics per post. His post had 32 pics in it. Didn't know a work around for this so I just used photobucket instead.

Keep an eye out for nip in the running for motm March :D

NP Elano, I thought maybe it was a fluke the first couple times but it occurred on two different systems and then I started getting word from other peeps so I figure it'd be safer for all. I always wondered why some other forum admins banned **********.

I always used photobucket and never had a problem, always hated imageshit, no wait shitshack, no wait ********** :Hi: That is until photobucket limited the size of my account unless I wanted to pay them... :morpheus:

Just got hit by the same Trojan over at XS. I didn't know the link was a imageshck link until i clicked on the picture and it was to late. I reported the issue to one of the mods.
