Thx men, if the tsunami is big enough to reach me, well, you'd all better duck your heads and kiss your asses cuz its Armageddon time.

My home is roughly 800 feet above sea level smack dab in the middle of the island (A). If I've got problems, we've all got problems.

:D fixed

OC Maximus 03-11-2011 02:07 AM

Hope we don't die in the next 5 min, I'm about 9 floors up in an apartment building. I can see Pearl Harbor off my lanai. That would really suck if we drowned. Mom and mother-in-law have been blowing up our phones. All I want to do is go back to sleep. LMAO

Kal-EL 03-11-2011 02:12 AM

T-minus 4 minutes till impact!

Damn Kal like a solid 1/4 of your island is wildlife reserves and parks. Funny how the gov't took all the good coastal land huh? Can you see that inlet from your house to the south?

Kal-EL 03-11-2011 03:35 AM

Thats Pearl Harbor, OCM's stomping grounds ;)

Chuchnit 03-11-2011 04:02 AM

What part of the island is your AO?

Kal-EL 03-11-2011 04:05 AM

Where I live :)

Kal-EL 03-11-2011 05:32 AM

half hour left till the all clear siren...

Rogue210 03-11-2011 07:10 AM

Hey boys :) well this island survived another tsunami scare :D

Kal-EL 03-11-2011 07:22 AM

I dunno, conflicting reports about the warning being extended another 4 hours.

Chuchnit 03-11-2011 07:55 AM

Was this tsunami a non-event just like the last one a few months ago? If so it sure is making the scientist look like fools.

Rogue210 03-11-2011 08:25 AM

The scienctist got it right but they didnt know the size....the biggest wave was about 8 ft high....which is good but tue north shore has seen waves 30+...so oh well...it is always interesting to c how people act when an emergence happens : P

Cyberjackal 03-11-2011 12:21 PM

I think the biggest scare is not knowing what to expect... people seem to fear the unknown - not knowing exactly what to do or where to go. It puts ppl in a panic.

Glad you Pac Island guys made it through all right!

Kal-EL 03-16-2011 03:40 PM

things just keep deteriorating in Japan :(
