It's a good board thats all i can say.
But i dont think you get more for you money compared to a Rampage 3 Extreme. |
I dunno, but for twice the price it better give up some better clocks
FINALLY gonna start freezing it tomorrow for my review of the der8auer BEAST CPU pot :D |

The R3E does not come with a $300 audio/network card though :) |

When I had my R2E, the ASUS oc software was FAIL!. Every time you adjusted anything at all, the rig would freeze.
VERY HAPPY with the new release that came with the R3E, I'm able to change voltages, bclk, AND, CPU multipliers without any hiccups. ROG connect is pretty awesome too :D |

could be right Kal, but the software never seemed to work on the R2E from day one
|
DAMN, this board is soooo easy to OC, and stable? oi vey
Have it running at just over 4.8Ghz on water, with very little effort, and it runs any bench I throw at it. This same chip had a difficult time staying stable on a Classy 760 at 4.5Ghz while requiring a higher vcore. Have the OS all tuned up and stripped down, so I'm ready to throw the pot back on it tonight and get down to the biz of the BEAST review (finally) |
