Happy 4th. We set off our firework over the lake at my cottage. Spent about $2500.00 this year. THey're not legal in Mass so we have to go to New Hampshire to get them and then smuggle them back home. loool The cops sit on the other side of the lake and watch us set them off. looool Its good to have connections.

Happy 4th!

They do things right here near Phoenix. BBQ, chili-infused margaritas and all day swimming followed by legal fireworks in front of the house. 112 degrees, dry as a bone, and you only need to be 16 to buy em in the grocery store. Glad my kids got a little taste of my childhood.

Where I live now they don't trust a 60 year old with a sparkler.

This 4th was teh most mellow (or boring) 4th of July ever in the history of 4th of July's. You see........they blanket banned Fireworks this year :thumbsup:.

Now if they'd do something to prevent people from shooting each other with guns, I woulda had a really nice and mellow 4th of July, instead I spent the greater part of the day typing. :morpheus:

Hope everyone had a great 4th.

Went out to watch the fireworks on the bay, largest in the state, and one of the largest on the East Coast :)

Can ban fireworks launched from a barge :) w00t!

Amazing display, hearts, peace signs, stars planets some real creative stuff.

The fireworks went to the local radio station music track (did not know iot till we got there so did not bring a radio)

We were close enough that hte fireworks took up a nice portion of our view, but far enough that the big booms didn't freak out the little kids.

It also turns out.. I have a knack for more than just burgers and steak, I made BBQ chicken breast (for the first time) that even kids will eat :) (IE not blackened :) )
