This was my daily driver until a few days ago when the mobo bit it. It was a repair that I did and was fun while it lasted.

Home rig is a 2600 (non K) at 3.9 GHz, HD6870, 1600mhz sloppy 8GB ram and a 500 GB HDD.
Although thinking about going back to AMD, considering how smooth the 1090T and 990FX setup is. Have not done much gaming on it yet (little Stalker pripyat with 580GTX). I prefer AMD cards for gaming so 580 will keep getting flipped for testing machines till it dies too (first one died trying to play Crysis2 DX11 and full textures :S) I do have an H67 setup the 2600 might go into for HTPC duties...if not a 2500K (cheapest sandy B worth buying as far as I can tell) |

i need to figure out how to put a SSD in my Xbox 360 :-/ |
i don't think you can/wanna it's not gonna help much cuz the chipset in the system isn't really gonna take advantage of it
i am not even sure if it'll even see it at all..... on the other end Wii is the one you wanna play around with and drop a 2TB hdd with or something stupid lol (2TB was a joke more like 500max) |

LOL
just loaded Dues Ex, hope it lives up to the hype |
Was going to buy it but heard that it wasn't as great as expected. Will wait for the price to drop a bit. Definitely going to get Rage and Batman next month. Rage looks like a spin off of Borderlands which was a freaking blast! Same people made it I believe so that is why the similarities prolly.
|
I was going to buy it until I read something about BOSS levels :ohcrap: I HATE boss level games

My old sandyB could run 4.5 GHz at 1.3v on wprime. Needed 1.35 to do vantage or superpi though. Damn nice though and I do get your point :) (Just saying that for sandy wprime aint the tough test :) ) I'm lame though, my sandy is at 3.9 for daily use. |
