1 Attachment(s)
I keep on getting this pop-up no matter what i do. I've created the folder. I've said no. I've just X'd it out. But it keeps popping up. It happens when i exit IE and when i close my Outlook Express. It happens when i close IE when i leave this site too. Anyone?

DrNip 09-08-2011 07:39 AM

What does the pop up say?

GFDuke 09-08-2011 07:41 AM

MaadDaawg 09-08-2011 07:43 AM

too small for me to read, but I'm pretty sure I've never seen it

GFDuke 09-08-2011 07:51 AM

you can click it to make it bigger. Or did you already try that. lol

MaadDaawg 09-08-2011 07:54 AM

yeah, I had already tried that lol Tried again and used the magnifier on my helping hands tool and was able to read it.

Never saw it before

Sorry :Dizzy:

ocgmj 09-08-2011 08:13 AM

Download flash player. Looks like your missing a file.

GFDuke 09-08-2011 01:51 PM

Yup. thats 3 times in a row.

Trying again to close the site.

Yup thats 4 times. wtf

Ypu closing again. I am just xing out IE explorer.

Geez it dosn't stop. I click on yes to create the file every time.

Neuromancer 09-09-2011 02:19 PM

Perhaps your security settings are too tight/your antimalware software is deleting flash cookies after every session?

Have you tried com[pleteing removing flash, and manually deleteing that file string. then reinstalling Flash?

DrNip 09-10-2011 02:52 AM

Internet Explorer FTL. Chrome FTW.

MaadDaawg 09-10-2011 03:41 AM

+1 Chrome FTW :D

kikicoco1334 09-10-2011 10:04 PM

windows 7/64 + firefox = win!

Kal-EL 09-11-2011 01:30 AM

Been using the portable Firefox app on my work computer lately, since they won't allow permissions to install items. Its pretty smooth and quick loading on the pages.

GFDuke 09-11-2011 03:08 AM

The thing is that i also get the pop-up when i close Outlook Express on occasion.

MaadDaawg 09-11-2011 03:30 AM

don't like the new firefox interface :Dizzy: otherwise, I'd be using that one too

dude i am sorry but if you are lazy as hell (LIKE ME)
just nuke the system and re-install the os if there is not too much to it

that's why i only use 1TB hdd for os so when i am backing it up it's not too too hard

GFDuke 09-14-2011 11:10 PM

Negative on nuking the OS. Its my daily rig i've got too much to lose. If it was a benching OS it would have been wiped without a question. It dosn't happen as often but it's still going on.

Kal-EL 09-14-2011 11:44 PM

You think you're infected or just borked os?

ocgmj 09-15-2011 10:47 AM

Run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware see if you have any bugs crawling around your system. Also have you run windows updates?

Splave 09-15-2011 10:55 AM

I would try deleting the system32 folder :X

Ran that. Found a Trojan. Thanks for the tip. We'll see if that does it.

GFDuke 09-18-2011 01:23 PM

Update: 3 Days now and everything is still good. I did find a 2nd one with Avast that night. So Malwarebytes found a Trojan that Avast didn't find and Avast found one that Malwarebytes didn't find. Weird shit but all is well. Thanks OC.

I second that. Also superantispyware. Free download at their site. Two of the greatest programs.
