G.Skill F3-19200CL11Q-16GBZHD Benching on 2011

They are pretty much tapped out there on my less than stellar IMC.
Not going to show 2600+ at super loose timings, or 2000 at tight timings because if you bench these this is where you want to be and this single bench sums it up. :yepp:

(I will point out all 16gb's on 1155 at 1866mhz works as well if you upgrade your parts in cycles)

Conclusion......Get the CAS9 stuff :) its more expensive yes but it is for a reason. The CAS11 stuff here will do CAS10 all day but CAS9 is no where near 32m stable.
So you still arent sold on the CAS9 kit? Well these are a pretty nice 2nd best. For what 2011 is good for bench wise I have to admit its nice to punch in 10-11-10 at 2400mhz divider and know when there is a BSOD its not because of the ram. This stuff is so solid there. Waaay nicer than trying to mix triple channel and dual channel kits together and play nice.

If I had a 24/7 computer that wasn't a laptop this kit would most definitely be in it...and the CAS9 kit would stay on my bench setup

Nice write up bro ......

cas 9 stuff is steep like 5 or 6 bills .....

you need to hook up with G.skill for some sucklel stix ......................

Wish I had the funds to play in this arena :ohcrap:

awesome bro just awesome!!!

MaadDaawg 11-29-2011 11:51 AM

Awesome special effects there Bro :D

Corsair has a quad channel set of Cas9 2400Mhz in their store for the mere price of $495 per set. Which really ain't too shabby. I'd have to sell something first

You Splig, would the new Cas9 quad channel on Corsair live in comfort and harmony with my GTX3 if I were to have an unstoppable urge to spend more money I ain't got??

How much volts did they need ?

Splave 11-29-2011 12:40 PM

1.65v's :)

MaadDaawg 11-30-2011 04:27 AM

Nice kit Al. What role does timings play on s2011 since it has so much spare bandwidth already?

Splave 11-30-2011 11:32 AM

for 32m i was quite suprised what playing with the secondary timings did for the score. I suppose tighter is always better though right? :)

for day to day probably minimal

Chuchnit 11-30-2011 02:21 PM

Did you save any good psc kits for this platform?

Splave 11-30-2011 03:00 PM

Yep, 4x2gb of Trident 2133 9-9-9 suppose to be PSC never benched them yet though :)

You get after it brudda. So proud of you guys. I sure wish I had more time than to do the occasional drive by while lurking. Memory speeds are getting nuts. I take it 2400mhz is doable on daily drivers with s2011?

Splave 12-01-2011 03:39 AM

totally, no problemo at 2400 :)

Chuchnit 12-01-2011 04:58 AM

Sick!!
