My new project (NEEDS A NAME)
Ok guys I got a new toy, amongst all of buckeyes driving he did 18+ hrs, I have come to accuire a new OCZ CRYO-Z unit... for those not familiar with it.... It is a phase change unit, It is very nice and the way it stands it pulls down to about -49.5C unloaded.... Now im sure thats fine for some, but well, you know me and i may hook it up just to try it, but alll in all shes goin under the knife, and im planning on getting some functional upgrades, possibly modifying the controller some, along with even some possible visual upgrades...
I will have pics up soon, I know i have a hard time making names for these things, so help a guy out.... what should i name her... this thing was designed around a 120w load but im hoping i can get it into the area of a 160-180w load maybe even 200W with the right combination of condenser/fan and regassing... How about "Almost sub-zero" :rofl j/k that is actually a pretty sharp looking unit, and from what I hear, performance is pretty decent.

Well you already have a big Z on the side. So that can say Zero. Just need to think of what goes with zero now.

Just fill in the rest of the letters around that big Z on the side. Edit: If the case comes off the unit, you could even get a laser cutting outfit to cut out the lettering. A shop I use here, would probably charge about $20.00 for a job like that. Just a thought. There's bound to be a shop close to you that could do it. I like the looks of that unit. |
