der8auer ECC goes pro!
Hey fellow overclockers out there!
Withing over five years of extreme overclock I have always created and successfully used my own LN2/DICE containers. Normally I just produced about 3-5 pots, kept one for myself and sold the rest. Finally I made the step and founded "der8auer ECC" (Extreme Cooling Components) which means more products and constant availability for you :) I want to thank everybody who supported me within the last years - especially my family, team PCGHX, HWBot and everybody else who bought my products and made this possible :D For prices and more details check out: www.der8auer.de ! Let's start with the first product: Fusion Pot rev3! Raptor rev2 (Full-Copper GPU Pot) will follow within few weeks :) Fusion rev3 - 2.20 kg weight - 170 mm height - 70 mm diameter |
Nice work, congratulations!
|
Congrates!
Since your competitor sells in bulk item's, will you be selling in this fashion too? |
I have one of his pots, one he called "The Beast" that I bought a year or so ago. Very nice pot :D
Reviewed it against the venerable Kingpin FIEE where it held it's own against the king of the mountain. http://www.overclockaholics.com/foru...ead.php?t=4642 Design has changed some, but thinking this will probably be a good pot as well  |

I sell the items to everybody and every quantity. From 1 to 20 or more pots - just how you need it. Usually I reply within 24 h on Emails and ship Items within 48 h after I recieved the payment. Quote:
The BEAST was a kind of "diamond" pot. Took a lot of time to manufacture but I can already tell you that I am planing the BEAST rev2 ;) The Fusion rev3 is more a entrance product but still very high quality and performance. But first I will release the Raptor rev2 - a full solid copper GPU container  |
congrats
nice pot also any frost pics or testing been done with this pot ? |
Thx :)
Yea but I only have these two: More to come in two weeks when I have more LN2 :) http://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/at...ingpreview.jpg http://extreme.pcgameshardware.de/at...ion3test_1.jpg |
Can't wait to see the GPU pot:)
You do really nice precision work  |
Great pic's!!!!

Great!
Any way we can buy those separate for older pots? |
For sure :) Just tell me the lenght/height of your pot. Btw also your BEAST already has M4 threaded rods and should fit into 2011.
If you need them seperate it might cost around ~5$ |

Thanks :) |
I think 1366 and 2011 are the same hole pattern ?
|
Yes the position is the same :)
|
Yeah, WD, the only difference is that the native 2011 backplate extends farther and has threaded fittings that go in the mobo holes. If you swap out the 2011 backplate with a 1366 it fits the same but it doesn't extend to the mobo holes

On seeing the above quote I checked website and it lists the fusion rev3 at 185 euro. Not sure if that is a typo or what I quoted above is :) I am sure it is a fine product because your opthers have been, but especially for dice cooling one can get a 100-150 USD Koolance pot that will push F1EE in performance (just higher temps for LN2) Might want to call the Fusion a "mid-level" pot to give you room for an entrance level product later. Say in the 100 euro range, small copper base, with alum tube, just enough mass to hold temps for say 3 minutes of wprime ;) Just suggestions you can feel free to ignore, I am not your target audience I suppose, since I am a value or entry level budget style consumer. I once spent $200 USD on the F1 replacment and sold it before I had a chance to use it, as the purchase set me back far enough I couldnt afford Dice..:( |
Actually I want to reach every kind of customers and I am glad about comments like yours :) And you are right. The fusion is mid-level more than entrance.
I'm currently working on the Raptor rev2 (full copper GPU Pot) and the BEAST rev2. Entrance DICE pot will follow with way cheaper price like you need it. |
Sweet. looking forward to it
|
I just updated my pot-history ;) Still missing one or two because I can't find pictures but nearly all of them are online now :)
der8auer ECC History You might have to press ctrl + F5 to refresh the page. |
A lot of pretty pics
that double impact almost disappears it's so reflective .. did you make the VR cooler plate for the GFX card too? Nice :good: |
Thanks man :)
No that's the normal plate of a GTX 275 Lightning :D |
so you cut the bracket to keep the vrm cooliing but still allow the pot?
|
The bracket is untouched. Just how it came with the card :)
|
the pot must stand out a good bit the, cause other people I know have had to cut the bracket so the pot would fit to the GPU ... pretty cool

This thread needs more picture's! :picmonster:

Other brands available on ebay. In the tutorial above it shows pretty easy to remove as well. Dont know why this is not more famous. Seems even easier than eraser and so much easier to remove. Dont know whether its that easy to remove from motherboards where there are lots of corners.... |
