Any of you guys fish?
 

Had a pretty nice weekend out at a nearby quarry. Took the little sea-eagle raft and 28hp electric motor out. 1st day lost a hyooge large mouth just sheared my line, day 2 I couldnt buy a bite but my wife was hitting them left and right :blush: pics uploading now.

Had a lifetime license since I was 10. Me and a buddy used to run a charter boat out of Braddocks Bay in Lake Ontario for a few years.

As for fishing, I have not in years. I don't eat it so not much point for me.

IF they ever have open season on Cows or Pigs I will go hunting though :)

But are they all that small up north ? I remember catching 7+lbs all the time even had some bust the lines and go under the boat and jump out of the water on the other side....

Its mostly large mouth and sunnies but caught a pike the other day didnt even know there were any in there

Yeah, you may get less hits on bigger bait, but the fish you do get will be larger.

I's sure you all heard of the little boy who's dream it was to be a fisherman. Started out as a trainee dock hand helping the tourists bait their hooks, until, one day, he was promoted to his dream postion of Master Baiter :laughing: .... jeeez, dating myself with that one :rofl:

That's all I've been doing this year is fishing. Can't afford computers anymore since having a kid with another one on the way in November, purchasing a house this year, trying to pay my car off and trying to get a fish/ski boat within the next two years, lol!

Crappie has been what I've mainly fished for with Largemouth next. I don't eat fish but love to fish. I either give away to friends or release. Here is my count so far:

A few hundred bucks netted me several reels, rods and lures. Biggest cost will be a boat but as stated we will be getting a fish/ski boat so it will be two pleasures in one! We have our eyes on the Tahoe Q4.

My wife is pregnant again with a BOY this go around and he is due in November. When he is around two we will be snaggin the boat. Family vacations at various lakes look out!
