I'll be working thru the night until doomsday, which, if you havent heard, National Geographic ran a correction story indicating that the initial researchers read the Mayan calendar wrong and the end of the world is actually 100,000 years from tomorrow.

End Fail

At workin drivin around and just saw the biggest green meteor I've ever seen before. Broke
up into little pieces but hot damned that thing lit up the sky and moved like lightning.

So much for Hollywood slow moving meteors, these things zip thru the sky.

saw one like that a year ago, was like you could see the fire behind it :cool3:

MaadDaawg 12-21-2012 04:39 AM

The meteor broke up... we're all still alive....

Stupid Mayans

or... was that just the warmup act

Kal-EL 12-21-2012 06:29 AM

When my son was'nt 6'6" I used to take him driving around to look
for Santa so my wife could sneak presents under the tree while we
were gone. We'd come back and I'd tell my boy Santa beat us home.
He'd hang his head out the window scanning the sky. Then one year
I lucked out and there was a meteor shower and he saw it, blam!
Confirmation Santa was OTW! Bwahahahahahahahaha Parents!
:D

He's 14 now and wants to go out looking for Santa this year for old times sake :)
