 Asus 27 inch 1440 |
I bought this a few months ago. Best investment in a monitor I have ever made. Come straight from Korea in perfect condition when I got it. I went from a 27" Asus to this and its night and day. Running it at 2560x1600. That's actually my review on it. And, I finally figured out how to change the language on the screen so it's in English. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...9SIA2RY0ZB7352 |

I have a 1440 IPS and love it, sure Duke's is off the hook, I use mine for gaming as the color gambit os rediculouse I use a fast 120 Hz TN for benching, not sure it helps, I think it has a placebo effect ..... |
You're the one who recommended it (Crossover) to me. Superlicious monitor bro!! IPS fTW. |
No doubt about it .......... |
Cool cool! After I pay my speeding ticket, rent, and every other blood sucker in America I may get one. Thanks guys! You can over clock it? That corssover is $850 the one i linked is $580? What am I missing? |
Nice, looks like a replacement for my stoopid Apple Cinema 30". (NON_HDCP_COMPLAINT!) |

 Nothing, the 27" PLS will preform, the Crossover linked is a 30" monster 27 = 2560x1440 30 = 2560x1600 |

1440P is on my upgrade path too. I just picked up a used HP LP2475W and I love it. IPS, it is not glaring bright, the colors are rich and deep. The connectivity is RIDICULOUS. Everything from s-Video to display port. AND while it does not have speakers it has TOSLINK passthrough for HDMI audio. And 6 usb 2.0 ports :) Plus it rotates, not that I will probably ever use that feature, but there has been a time of two I have run a 90 degree monitor. that 30" would be the balls, but I think I would rather get two 27"s (idieally if I could get 1440p in a 24" I would like that best :) Monitors and other I/O devices is the best way to increase happiness with a PC. Unfortunately they have gone the route of other PC components. So I need one wit ha USB 3.0 hub built in and supporting HDMI 1.4A or whatever the latest is. |

I think Dell is the only one with the USB port built in. Afaik. I have a Dell 27 that has all those bells and whistles. |

That's my benching monitor. Except for when I have to do 1440p Catzilla. But before that it was my gaming monitor. Dell make really good Monitors. They're just expensive as hell. |

LG ahd their 27" IPS 1440 on sale at the egg like 3 weeks ago for 499 keep an eye out for a deal |

I would look at Crossover monitors if I were you Kal. This 30" screen is the best I have ever seen and the price is great. The prices have dropped a lot. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...TabStoreType=1 |

My son is 17 now and I gave him my 24" samsung to play BF4 and what not. I swear everything just looks better on his 24" than this cinema but with less real estate. I will take a closer look at the crossovers tho, thanks for the feed guys. :good: |
If you can push 144 hz it does give you a leg up in FPS's I have a crossover, crazy picture , only grip is a little back light bleed. it is only noticeable when the screen is black though What you are probably seeing is the difference between LED and LCD the LED's seem to pop a little better |

Preppin for a loop on the 24/7 now. Possible upgrades to platform too outside of the 680's, they still pwn. |
Kewl, in for some pics |
Dang. That's still a lot of loot. |
No doubt, but it is going to be a BF4 eye candy extravaganza Going to need some serious HP to rip at 144 FPS on Ultra at 2160x1440 :ohcrap: |
Someone was tellin me the whole occulus rift thing is gonna take off. :band2: |
That is some cool tech, not so sure it can become mainstream though ? |
