Weird weather all over, its cold here for Hawaii, daytime 69, night dips into the 50's. Usually its 80-90's.

Just decided to see what is going on... Apparently some shake up in the CPU world. my green team coming back with some AMD powah!!! No not nvidia. :p

Little disappointed to see they are pulling some shit with their mem controller.

Need to get me a new build together. Just have not had time. Working and family. I gave my i5 to my son.. running a g3258?? and a 560 GTX (x really?) right now OMG. Next build will be a NVME and at least a 6 core :) Loving ITX form factor with my 1Tb of SDDs and 9TB of rotational storage :) Even if it is dated

did not notice much except can't HD vid and game at same time :p lol So different then the days of stripping XP down for some 32m times..

Congratulations on the retirements fellas! I'm a decade behind you on that front, but at least the kids are all in college & grad school.

Wait, that's why I'm a decade behind....

Haven't built a rig in a while. Think about benching on occasion, but current world doesn't seem very exciting with only one or two GPU's.

Thanks Patch, man its nice to hear from people that they still hanging in there or thriving. I havent seen the need to update my rig for a good long while but i still tinker.

Both my kids done with school, off and running, daughter got married, me and the wife in the Geriatric Business now taking care of parents. Thought i had at least ten years post retirement to myself but nope, go from kids to parents, not complaining really, but suddenly I miss High School, lol.
