Just wanted to make an offer here

Just wanted to make an offer here. I do not know where everyone lives around here but for those who are close or want to travel a bit even anyone is welcome to head over here and use what cooling equipment I have.

I know there might be some out there who have not run LN2/Phase/Cascade's before and might be interested in giving it a go.

My location is Stockton, CA

So just give me a yell and we can setup an event so others can have some fun !

Of course you can bring your own benching setup. Or if you just want to experance extreme cold I can provide a setup to mess around with.

DrNip 06-22-2009 03:36 PM

Well I live in Oklahoma but if I ever swing that way you better believe I will take you up on that offer as I have been dying to get me some LN2 action.

Jeffro64 06-22-2009 03:39 PM

I'm in Texas but if i'm gonna be around that area i'll take you up on that to... Thanks Man!

I wish I had the skill to build one. No its a Jinu 2 Stage Cascade, about 3 years old. I did a thread here about it. Look in the Phase/LN2 cooling section.

ocgmj 06-22-2009 07:18 PM

Killer offer Buckeye... I live in Corona, CA. If I'm ever up north I will hit you up.

wow were pretty close then

Chuchnit 06-23-2009 02:43 AM

Guys don't feel bad. Only geeks within 100 miles of me are gaymers, and when I say gaymers they like to run 8GB DDR2 @ 800mhz cas 7. "Because it helps in games on my vista 32-bit" :rofl

Bill if I ever get the nerve to be in California again, it will be Stockton CA for sure ;)

Buckeye 06-23-2009 03:56 AM

I went through Corona, CA not to long ago with the Cascade in the back seat :)

Kal's place would be a lot more fun to have a bench party at :)

Punx you better get your rear end up here some time !!

Afterburner 06-23-2009 04:05 AM

Pretty cool offer man...

Neuromancer 06-23-2009 06:54 AM

I just realized what town you live in.... Must get a lot of stuff from Newegg :)

limpkorn 06-25-2009 04:47 AM

Awesome offer buckeye!

I live in Los Angeles, still a bit of a drive to explain to the wife, but you never know one of these days I may be banging on your door.

Really COOL of you.

thebanik 06-29-2009 09:18 PM

Amazing offer, I so wish to play with a cascade if not something else, someday will have the money to buy a cascade for myself, its the shipping which kills it for me though

dinos22 06-29-2009 09:44 PM

Deanzo 06-29-2009 10:56 PM

Oh man youve got that right :)

The Cascade has saved me a ton on LN2 costs tho, plus I don't have to drive over to Air Gas and get ripped off with the 50L fill up. I tried to get a 160L delivered every month and they cut me no breaks, $300 for LN2 + $29.95 delivery charge and $400 depost on Dewars :Dizzy:

As often as I have used it I prolly save that much a week. The 50L would last me a weekend for just CPU benching. So now I only use it for GPU's when I get that up and running. But being GPU poor I will not be doing that very much.

So the setup's are 4x GPU pot's - 2x wide mouths & 2x Slims, 1x F1 and 1 Mickmouse and just recieved GPU mounts for 260's & 280's. Blue Aqua Chilly1 SS Phase, Jinu SS Phase and the Jinu 2 Stage Cascade.

Not a wide selction of CPU's and MB's so suggest bring your own gear which you would need to upload any points with if thats what you want, or could just bench what I have.

Kicking in for LN2 would be nice ;) but I do have space to sleep if you need, hotel right down the street also. Lots of good food to eat here also :)

Offer is still good ;)

Most I know are in LA and thats a 7 hour drive each way  Been there and done that drive many times, I don't know how you guys do it down there.

4 hours of nice stright drive on I-5 to the base of the Grape Vine, rest/gas up and then over the hill, I hate the Grape Vine LOL. Then oh look The Santa Monica Freeway... please shoot me now, or I-5 LA which is like "Welcome To The Jungle - We gonna Watch You Bleed" or other god awfull freeways down there. The day I picked up the Cascade was something like 18 hours of a fun packed exciting drive mostly in LA :rofl

NY is my home away from home. I am here for work all week and go home to CT on the weekends. I really need to find a way to bring my hardware with me.
