dark template sucks .. (in my opinion)

That sucks man, drnip and I worked very hard on this dark theme layout. Sry we couldn't accomodate your vision impairment. We'll look into getting a lighter version for you up and running soon. Do you have a text to speech program you can use for now? I believe Dragon Speak naturally works well. Any particular colors you'd like us to avoid for the template?

actually i do feel its kind of hard to read.. though i dont mind it.. but reading long posts is tiring.. could maybe have an option to change template to a diff theme?

A lighter them wil be an option or the standard vbulletin available to the visually distressed. If it is still outside you're liking, I'm not sure how much more I can dedicate to satisfying each member's preference. I do value you're individual opinions and thank you for pointing out your dislikes.

Thats all I can do for you. The majority of the membership here loves this layout and color scheme. It was made to their liking. Had you been here to have a say in the theme, it may have turned out differently.

Your understanding and patience is appreciated while I make the adjustments.

The forum default template should now be available to you three now. I hope it suits your needs at this time. If you see a vbulletin forum skin that you would like to see implemented or customized lemme know and I'll take a look at it.

I just switched to the light one once I saw it was available. I see the light once again (and get blinded by my monitor), thanks for that!

Doh, oops! Give it time, the pupil dialaton will adjust, I'm a doctor sometimes, everything will return to normal, whatever that is. :D

the default skin is good ( lol ive been using that skin over at ocx since they had it available.. ) thanks.. my eyes are probably sending u prayers right now.. lol..

You know best color for articles background is white because the background doesn't make your eyes tired ! @ all i think it's not so good to use black for background color . if it was good , many newspapers or books will be black !

What??? It sux. We use to have a light version of this theme but got 86 due to it being to hard keepin up with the two themes not to mention the majority ruled in the dark color. The default theme I don't beleive will disply the sidebar, FYI.

Nopes, prolly wouldnt be too much of a leap to create the png's to make a matching one tho and then creating a default#2 theme.

I'm not doing it anytime soon, I gots hardware wood.

I still have the light version. Prob we ran into was whatever changes we made to the default dark theme(sidebar, forums, etc.) we had to do with the light version which sucked after a bit. I am sure there was an easier way but didn't have time.

I was told that the reason the sun hurts my eyes, is because I have "light colored eyes" just the other day.

I wonder if that has anything to do with which forum skin you prefer.

I like the white text on grey background for exactly the reason some of the people here like the black on white.

White background bothers me.. it is too bright. Bothers my eyes.

Now white text on black might bother me too, but its white on grey and the grey has a black border so its very smooth, for me.

EDIT: Okay the posting part is a bit bright and I have my brightness turned down a bit too, but reading the threads themselves is fine. (Editing posts, quick reply etc are white on black I see)

I find the theme more fresh than the usual VBulletin, thing is it takes a bit longer than usual to load. Thats my only complaint...
