and this is where i am stuck at LOL....now to figure out where all those plugs go.....

DrNip 07-06-2009 07:42 AM

Nice. What's the hardware you got on it there? Is that a 780? I recognize the Thor's Hammer.

Rogue210 07-06-2009 07:44 AM

It is the 790i....talk about a crash course after the havoc I played on Kal's hardware LOL...:rofl oh boy just wondering if this thing is actually going to work..:scared: Yea the thor's hammer is a little pain in the but to install...but its on there...

punx223 07-06-2009 07:51 AM

WOW!!! taht thing is nice!!! very cool build rogue :good:

DrNip 07-06-2009 07:56 AM

790 was my 1st guess but I remember mine having more sata ports. I guess it only had two sideways sata ports and the rest were flush.

Jeffro64 07-06-2009 08:03 AM

Very nice Rogue!

Rogue210 07-06-2009 08:08 AM

Thanks guys....but just like a noob...it is a total bitch to find where all the plugs go....:rofl...this is going to take a while LOL

Afterburner 07-06-2009 09:00 AM

Hey this is cool! Look at all the table top area for a Phase unit!!! MUHAhahahaha

limpkorn 07-06-2009 09:24 AM

Very nice rogue! I like how it's looking. I'm sure everything will work just fine!

Kal-EL 07-06-2009 12:37 PM

Wow, you've been a busy little bee haven't yah Rogue! :good: All looks good, did I give you the other 2000mhz mem modules?

That work bench looks perfect for your setup and YES a phase change unit would prolly fit right there on the bottom shelf or nearby. Sweet setup.

Use the 8600gts to get up and running and then pop in the GTX285. You can bounce the x-fi interface module and ribbon cable if you like, not really a necessary item unless your gonna plug in from that side for your headphones and mic.

Lemme know if you need anything, glad to help you along the path of addiction, you're getting good submersive experience now :D

Russianhaxor 07-06-2009 12:42 PM

Floppy? :headscratch:

Kal-EL 07-06-2009 12:46 PM

I still run a floppy on every machine I own. The only reason I scratch my head is because I shaved it bald and now it gets itchy sometimes.

ViViD 07-06-2009 06:20 PM

What's That CPU FAN?
It's Nice And Like steeple

Rogue210 07-06-2009 10:14 PM

:D Thanks u guys....Using the thor's hammer...and logisys fan...with the pretty lue lights LOL

Chuchnit 07-07-2009 12:15 AM

IDK what that ugly thing sitting in the cpu area is. Shouldn't that be large, copper and have insulation all over it? :D I usually am not a fan of the flashy lights, but the blue really suites your build. Hang your head very high for building this one.

DrNip 07-07-2009 05:06 AM

Boy that blue bling blinds you!

Kal-EL 07-07-2009 05:06 AM

Man, that looks uber cool :good:
You must be stoked with it being your very own first build!
Awe, everybody, our little Rogue's not a hardware virgin anymore :wt:

Rogue210 07-07-2009 05:23 AM

I know the blue is blinding...LOL now i feel part of the oca team LOL...now just getting all the software installed...ha ha that's a different story all together...

Kal-EL 07-07-2009 05:25 AM

you know whats cool, the pin stripes on the curtain give that effect like the light is streaking up from the mobo. At first glance you think its a bad photo or blinding the camera lens but upon closer inspection, its the dark curtain with light pin stripes. Could be usefull for some well planned photo pron pics later, effects :D

Rogue210 07-07-2009 05:34 AM

LMAO...just like a guy to see opprotunities for a great pron pic :rofl

Archer 07-08-2009 08:58 AM

Nice very nice kind of maker me think outside the box.
