They look like a lot of fun. 15 dog years is like 76 human years, right? Maybe when I retire and can stay at home I will get me a buddy too.

DrNip 07-23-2009 04:10 PM

Me too! He's the secret behind all my overclocking...

Is that a Jack Russell Nip? I hear they can be a handful sometimes.

DrNip 07-23-2009 04:15 PM

Yep. he is a short legged version. Names Roscoe and he is one of the coolest dogs ever. For some reason he is fasinated by monitors, laptops, cellphone screens and TV's. He will watch TV all day if I put it on the Animal Planet.

rickss69 07-23-2009 04:25 PM

Haha! Now I am getting jealous of you guys.

MaadDaawg 07-23-2009 04:46 PM

Man, we recently found out Jake has a heart problem. He's 8.5 years old and the vet says six months to a year with a shitload of medication... he's worth every penny though (only been 3 or 4K so far and about another K per year he lives :(

Shit, he eats better than I do, and since we don't discriminate, Katey gets the same diet. Dinner is 1/2 lb ground beef, a good portion of some fresh made doggy deli loaf, and 2 cups of premium kibble. well, don't think I'd want to eat the kibble.. lol

Sorry to hear that, Rick. Looks like you started a Bench Buddy thread. Here's mine. Rowdy.

MaadDaawg 07-23-2009 04:56 PM

Not to change the subject but... had a 60 Camaro 396 SS that used to eat Goats for lunch and spit out the pieces  Course the key word for me is "had", if you "have" you're way ahead of me bro :)

I'll post my dog pics tomorrow. Now that every else is, my dogs'll get pissed if I don't and you don't want to piss off a pair of 100lb+ Dobermans

My cousin had a 69 Camaro SS 396 4 spd, they were hot. This Judge walked all over it. I had 3 69 GTO's, sold one, have two left. One being a 4 spd Judge. I found some pics of two of them. The top GTO is the one I sold, the other is my next project.

No kidding !!!:rofl:laughing:

Gotta love that BB Chevy.

Here's pics of my 400 Poncho mill and the Judge's M21 4 spd with verticle gate shifter. I pit the tranny in that black goat for some fun.

rickss69 07-23-2009 05:51 PM

Very nice! We built a 389 tri power motor for a retired State Trooper not long ago. Wish I had taken some pic's of it...they are wicked looking. It went back into his '65 Goat that he bought new and had been sitting idle for the last 12 years.

Cool. Was it built to stock?

This is the only picture I have here with the Judge in it. The rest of my pics and the car are 750 mi. from here, back at the farm.

You can just see the roof of it back there.

rickss69 07-23-2009 06:07 PM

It went back together mostly stock. Those motors really overpower the smallish tires that came on those cars. The '66 Nova has the same problem. The 327 in it is a beast and definately not stock lol.

Sorry for the thread resurection. Musta missed this during my extended period of MIA last year. Some jackfruit visitor was trying to view so I checked it how, lol.

My uncle (master mechanic) has had a fully soup'd up Roadrunner since I was a little kid. He constantly upgrades/tweaks for drag strip action.
