So who is getting Windows 7 ? and Who like me Just decided to pre order it from newegg;)

How much was it ?

For $349 you can get a TechNet sub which is a dang good deal for all you get with that.

I have had Win 7 for some time now.

I payed $170.00 For Windows 7 OEM 64Bit Ultimate.

Well for the price I showed for TechNet you get every OS and unlimited installs, server software plus all versions of Office 2007.

The upfront cost might be a tad higher but the value is huge.

Thats not bad at all, But I already have a hacked copy of word 2003 & 2007 that works great and is microsoft verified as genuin* lol, but I only have my one computer and a laptop so for me its not worth the cost;) And with OEM I can still transfer it between computers when I want to sell it.

I got the technet sub as well, been sportin 7 for a bit now, I'll stick with the technet sub for a good while. Its kool running a multi-boot of xp32,xp64,Vu32,Vu64,server2008, SevenU32, SevenU64 :shock:

For 350 bones huh... is that a one-time thing, or a yearly?
