Was smurfin and listening to music when blam, my man rig takes a dump after being stable Mable for a frigging long time. Sounded like one of the ol 8800 ultras took a dump but I'm pretty sure the raid card is the culptrit here. QX6850 @4ghz 1600mhz 2x2 corsiars 790i ultra sli 6 raptors in raid 0 areca raid card 2 8800 ultras in sli silverstone zues 1200w vista ult x2 xonar fully liquid cooled in a tj10esa case oh boy, thought I had enough to do today :@ |

You know I have had my Raid go down 2x's now and it just ticks me off. If I didn't have this nice Raid I would go back to 1 HDD and say screw the Raids for main rig. But I have gotten just way to used to the speed of mine and HDD's seem like slow mo to me. I went Raid 5 for awhile and I think I will go back to that, with SSD's I hardly noticed any diff to be honest. |
