i7 and 4850's
Well, did my first run with the 4850's. My main concern now was seeing how it does against the GX2, identical settings for each run, everything including CPU and GPU's at defaults.
See for yourself. GX2 http://img.techpowerup.org/091213/Capture259.jpg 4850's C/F http://img.techpowerup.org/091213/Capture262.jpg |
Very nice I was stuck right between the two with my 4850s on a super clocked AMD 920 :)
17.6K God I wish AMD had a i7 killer :) oh dont forget this http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...190990&page=67 I would not do the mem volt mod though that is how I killed my 4850 :( |
I'll read through that when I get home with more time. How high clocked was your 920?

3.96 GHz
http://hwbot.org/compare.do?resultId=867446 I did not know about driver versions at the time though either. Could have probably eeked out a few more points. |
No bad. I noticed thatfrom my stick settings to my 4.6ghz bench settings 3d marked averaged about 50fps more. Amazing! Lol
|
Yah I wish I had had a i7 with those 4850s. *sigh.
|
You do have an i7. I'll sell you the cards, $999.98. Lol
|
I meant had an i7 when I had my 4850s.
Does the $999.98 come with a time machine too? :D |
